America’s wealthiest State California is to hold special elections aimed at ousting its Governor just 6 months after he was narrowly elected for a second term. The move follows growing dissatisfaction over the State’s deepening economic crisis. Much of the blame for which has fallen on the Governor Gray Davis. A campaign to unseat Mr. Davis has now gained more than one million signatures. Well over the number required by law to hold a vote of confidence in him. 

IN MASSACHUSETTS  

Cult of secrecy in Roman Catholic Church allows Priests to sexually abuse children! (In the name of their God. Heaven forbid!!) 

Legal officials in the American State of Massachusetts say they won’t be bringing any charges against senior members of the Roman Catholic Church in connection with the sex abuse scandal in the Arch Diocese of Boston.

A 16 month investigation by the States Attorney General found that a culture of secrecy in the Church allowed abuse to take place against hundreds of children over six decades.

Mr. Riley said the Church is more concerned with protecting abusive Priests and its own reputation than looking after the interests of children.

However, charges couldn’t be brought against the Archdiocese because the CHILD ABUSING LAW in the State of Mass. had not expanded to include Priests until last year!!

IRAQ, where revenge is due!

In the 50 or so hours since the killing of Saddam Hussein’s sons, five American soldiers have been killed.

The commander of coalition forces in Iraq described the killings of the Hussein Brothers as a turning point in the battle with the Iraqi Resistance. But he also warned that it might mean an increase in the number of attacks. The coalition hopes that the deaths will eventually persuade some of the resistance that the struggle is pointless. But many Iraqis do not believe that Ouday & Qusay are dead. The coalition will publish photographic evidence but the authorities in Iraq are waiting for Washington to decide when the pictures should be released.

                                                                        Wednesday world news/ July 23^rd 2003-07-23

Americans identify two bodies, killed in a raid in Mossul, as Saddam Hussein’s 2 sons and possibly one Grandson.  

We may well see that the Royalist groups are going to be desperate to try to have revenge. So there might be a short-term upsurge of violence as revenge for the death of Saddam Hussein’s two sons.  

But for all of the people that had feared the return of Saddam Hussein.  Fearing that he could somehow come back, to see the two brothers, who headed Saddam’s Fedayeen, in the case of Udee, dead, is a very strong sign that this regime is not ever coming back. That there is no longer any reason to go on trying to support it.

We have to remember that more than half of the population are Shi’ite and there is absolutely no loyalty to Saddam amongst the Sh’ites. But even among many of the Saddam-supporting Sunnis, they lost daughters, they lost property, they lost sons. So it is likely that the gunfire heard in Baghdad on Tuesday night, was in fact celebrating the death of the 2 men. Certainly, the reaction among the Ba'ath loyalists is one of anger and fear. Possibly the reaction among most citizens is relief that they can get on with some sort of process of nation building, that there is hope. 

For the Sunnis and the Kurds, the message is quite clear. They literally hate Saddam and particularly they loathe his sons who were responsible for so many crimes of atrocity against them.

From Washington: 

There is no evidence that has been found, that there is any tight central direction of the increasing attacks against the occupying forces. They seem to be cells acting independently. But certainly, the willingness to act, has got to be based in part on the belief that Saddam and his sons survived and there was some chance that Ba’thist power  might come back. 

MONDAY MORNING WORLD NEWS /July 21^st 2003-07-21

The U.S. calls for an immediate cease fire between the Liberian government and rebels.

The U.S. is deeply concerned about the violence and all parties in Liberia must know the dire consequences of their actions.

The U.S. is sending extra troops to guard its embassy in Monrovia. In the latest fighting there, rebel forces pounded the city with mortars as they pressed forward. But the Liberian defence minister told the BBC that after heavy fighting the rebel advance had been stopped.

 British Scientist (apparently) commits suicide.

The BBC is under renewed pressure over one of its news reports which said: the British government exaggerated Intelligence material in an effort to justify the war on Iraq.

The BBC has acknowledged that the principal source for it’s report was a British weapons expert David Kelly who was found dead last week. A member of parliament has said that BBC must take the blame. He said the BBC’s Chairman should step down, resign and take full responsibility for this appalling category of errors, blunders and emissions by the BBC which he believed was what lead to Kelly’s death.

Shortly before his apparent suicide, Doctor Kelly told a parliamentary enquiry that he didn’t see how remarks he had made to a BBC journalist added up to an accusation that the government had misused intelligence material to strengthen the case for war. In a statement, the BBC said it believed it had accurately reported the information obtained from Dr. Kelly.

British Prime Minister Blair in China on the final stop of the Far Eastern Tour, which has been eclipsed by the apparent suicide of a Scientist caught up in a bitter row between his government and the BBC.

Mr Blair is holding talks in Beijing which are expected to be dominated by anxieties over North Korea’s nuclear program.

Mr Blair, looking distinctly more relaxed as he opened a new British Cultural Centre in Beijing. He smiled and joked with staff, a huge contrast from the haggard Prime Minister of two days ago. He must be hoping that, at least for today, the apparent suicide death of the British Scientist Kelly would be put aside as he tries to concentrate on the huge problem of what to do about the problem of North Korea. His Chinese hosts believe they have a way to get the N. Koreans back to the negotiating table. The problem now is to get the Americans to agree. And that is where Blair comes in. They hope the British Prime Minister will use his special friendship with President Bush to affect some sort of compromise and get the Americans and the North Koreans talking again. 

Tony Blair will be in China for 4 days but his trip has been overshadowed by events at home.

The chain of events that lead to Kelly’s death began with a bitter row between the BBC & the government. Earlier this year the BBC broadcast a report in which it claimed the government had exaggerated intelligence leading to the Iraqi war . It refused to name its source, so putting itself on a collision course with the government. On Friday Dr. Kelly was found dead in a field. The BBC has now admitted Kelly was the source.

The row started in late May when a BBC journalist ran a story saying a senior British Official had told him that the government had exaggerated intelligence reports in order to strengthen the case for war against Iraq. A week later, the accusation was vigorously denied and an apology was demanded from the BBC. At this point, it might have seemed that the row had lost steam.

But then, the Ministry of Defence issued a statement announcing an official, later named as Doctor David Kelly had come forward to admit that he had met the BBC and discussed Iraq’s weapons, a week before the original story was broadcast. But giving evidence in parliament last week, Kelly said he believed he was not the main source for the broadcast. Now the BBC says he was. (The Dead cannot deny).

BBC speaker said

“The BBC believes we accurately interpreted and reported the factual information obtained by us during interviews with Dr. Kelly. Over the past few weeks, we have been at pains to protect Dr. Kelly from being identified as the source for these reports. We clearly owed him a duty of confidentiality. Following his death we now believe, in order to end the continuing speculation that it is important to release this information as quickly as possible. 

The Prime Minister Tony Blair welcomed the BBC confirmation that Dr. Kelly was the mole, but the Scientist’s apparent suicide has further complicated an already complex controversy. A lot has been said of the pressure put on Kelly, a man unused to the Media’s spotlight, or the political one.

Robert Jackson of the opposition Conservative Party, was Dr. Kelly’s  M.P. He said he believed that basically what we have here is the BBC having departed from its normal standards of integrity in reporting got itself tied up with a very dodgy story which made very serious allegations about the conduct of the British govt.  They refused to back away, they refused to apologise and one of the consequences of this has been the tragic death of David Kelly. 

ARTIFICIAL WAR with the BBC. All a smoke screen to make people forget the main reason? 

The Labour M.P. Glenda Jackson says Dr. Kelly was used to divert attention from the failure to find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. She said “The key issue for me is this appalling personal tragedy, which was a direct result of Number 10 creating this artificial war with the BBC to deflect attention from the fact that the government was having increasing difficulties in giving straight answers to serious questions, as to the use or misuse of intelligence information. In order to convince the country we had to go to war against Iraq because they possessed weapons of mass destruction that could be launched in 45 minutes.

The British govt. has now set up an independent judicial enquiry to try to establish the truth. Only two people know what was said in a private meeting in a London Hotel in May. The 2 men present, the journalist Andrew Gillingham and Dr. Kelly himself and with one of those now dead, establishing the truth won’t be easy. Perhaps impossible. [Except for the tape of the conversation in the possession of the BBC now under lock and key.]

So why is Prime Minister Blair under so much pressure? The big unanswered question is, why Kelly felt the need to kill himself? [If that is what a Baha'i would do] Where was this very strong pressure coming from that he couldn’t live with? Did the British government push Kelly into such a corner that he felt he had to take his life? This is an allegation that is going around. Nobody has really got to the bottom yet, and this is something for the enquiry, of what the pressure was on Kelly which lead him to take the action he did. It was clear that he was the source and clearly he wanted to remain anonymous. That didn’t happen. Questions as to who leaked his name to the press? Then, all sorts of questions about whether or not the govt. was happy about the information Kelly gave to M-Ps. Up until now, nobody concerned has come out completely exonerated from all this. 

CHINA’S  ECONOMIC MIRACLE.                                                                      Penny Pincher reports: 

China’s economic miracle is bringing greater prosperity to more and more of its population and with the new wealth comes a taste for Western style consumerism. BUT, the problem is, one must underline first and foremost that China has, on a global level, 1.3 billion people with less than one dollar a day. So they urgently need economic development, new productive technologies for more and higher export efficiency. To make better use of arable lands; better use of technology. 

In the Middle East ROAD MAP TO PEACE, the Israelis & Palestinian Prime Ministers, Sharon & Abbas have failed to resolve their differences on the release of Palestinian prisoners. The issue is reported to have promoted HEATED EXCHANGES between the two men during talks in Jerusalem. Israel says it is willing to free several hundred; the Palestinians want thousands released. The Peace Plan, does not mention prisoner release. But it’s a crucial issue for Mahmoud Abbas because militant groups have made it a key condition for maintaining a cease fire. 

Sri Lanka’s Lovely!!  (G.D.s Film Script) Part 3. by Nanny Potisin

Four years ago, when I was fooling around with the Occult, I had the chance to “Dress Rehearse” myself, the mystical goings on, in a film to be shot in Sri Lanka. 

As you who are following this RAGGAMUFFIN=BRAKE=FAST=DREADFULLY=serial=maze  know already, this “Divine Drama” was foreseen in a punky pink dream, had by me. Soon after Senior Chaos Cracker Mary Potisin (nneb 1956 England), (me), accepted Scatty Kahn’s invitation to help her with her 4 children, on a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka.

However, in the mystical drama in a yellow phone box in the Düsseldorf Airport, Nanny had had a heart attack and died standing up in the booth!! Whim Troof’s cameras follow a much younger “HER” stepping out of Nanny’s body into HER Afterlife.  

In India everything goes much much slower. It is the heat perhaps. I had blown through: http://www.the7thfire.com/ , had entered through the heart, transcending the mind & leaving that old body behind, to play the “Plum Role” in a play which happens in the afterlife, in Nanny Potisin’s  dreamed up paradise.

My experience wants to demonstrate that, when one dies, one does not know that one is dead. 

There I was, patiently in the sure knowledge that Existence was, as usual, arranging my rescue. 

There had been a string of unlikely happenings coming up. For, as I knew from other “After-Life” experiences , when one let one’s life get just a little out of control – that is when things take off and get intoxicating. Such events are usually accompanied by some outstanding coincidences. Makes one really realise the presence, the here and now-ish-ness of the synchronised s.n.o.timed time that we are explaining in Sri Lanka’s Lovely. Once again, following a whim of my s.n.o.timed nose!! 

Once again it was a comforting matter of trust in the kind imaginativeness of Existence. That almighty power that does excel itself, when it knows that the individual concerned KNOWS of it and is aware of it. 

Waiting for the connection, you 500+ Gals & Guys who are following HeRstory, have arrived with me on the glorious Indian Ocean Beach on the paradise Island of Sri Lanka. It is, by now, about eight o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 17^th of March 1999. Saint Patrick’s day. So we may hope for some of the famous Irish Luck.

Although, ho ho ho, we are, don’t you know, in a Hindu Heaven. The land of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

Happily enough, Hinduism and Buddhism are, they say, tolerant religions. They also do have strong similarities in their beliefs.  For instance, they both have the Caste system. The upper Caste by the Hindus are the Brahman, the priests and the teachers. Then come the warriors (soldiers), the farmers and the hand-workers and right at the bottom, the untouchables, the workers. 

By the Buddhist Singhalese, the Goyigamas are at the top, and these are the Landowners and free Farmers. Follows the fishermen and on the same level, the soldiers. Then come the “Toddy Tappers”, who draw the palm wine, the tailors, the laundryman and other hand-workers. Below them come the temple watchmen, the drummers, the dancers, the burial musicians, the hangman and below them, the beggars, the snake-charmers, prostitutes and such. 

Sri Lanka’s Lovely

Today, I am destined to meet SHIVA!! Yes, a flash comes to me, as it sometimes does (in a helpful manner), of what is in the SCRIPT. This is an exciting moment in my dreamed up “after-death” film. Titled, corny enough don’t you agree? Shakti & Shiva shacked up! There was (also), as I mentioned before, a windsurf scene.

I pause, naked knees deep in a wave that swishes in over the swirling fine sand and peering out from under the protective brim of the black felt hat, I survey what is. Sucking it all in for the sweetness of the feeling of the honey-flowering of my soul, nurtured by this pricelessly vulnerable Mother Nature in tropic disguise. 

No butterfly-like bright windsurf floats  towards me in this mornings breeze though,  but there is an extremely picturesquely paint-able sight in my view.

A native fisherman up on a stilt in the shallows of the bay, casting his line, like another skinny figure up to his middle wading through the waves. They are throwing the silvery catch of small fish into sacks on their backs. Then there are such as that man, an exercising business man, who had just overtaken me. He (who is hopping and grimacing at his morning gymnastics,)  is, actually a Toddy Tapper. He owns the Toddy bar up in the town. 

The sun, an all embracing beam of fire, is slowly making its way out of the merciful hours of darkness. Returning from the space in time it had spent warming up the other side of the earth. 

I put my longi around my shoulders to protect from burning and look for some shade. The long curve of the bay which I have followed, briskly enough, if I am to get out of the sun before it gives me a stroke, brings me to a blessed spot, with clean yellow sand, cooled by the deep shade of a quite enormous old tree.

Heavenly, you might say.

Actually, I am sitting myself down carefully, (after scanning the area for any sort of dangers such as ants), outside a long high fence which is the border to a garden , which hid, I presumed, some sort of a house. Bemused, I light my pipe, drink some cold water, smoke and review the scene. 

It must be 24 hours now, since I had arrived and had stood in the Airport, waiting for my ride. What a lot had happened in such a short time and much more to come. I shiver anticipatorily at the thought of Shiva.

There is a red blotch in the centre of the new fresh clean white page of my water-colour block. With the sketching pencil, I turn it into a windsurf’s striped sail. It is  flitting over the glittering expanse of blue waters, between some low brown rocks jutting out at intervals here and there.

Behind me, in a garden, a servant girl sweeps rhythmically and some crows balance themselves on branches over my head, expectantly, as I peeled and ate a banana.

Rested, revived and the sketch concluded to my satisfaction, I get ready to move. I have captured the colours around me on the paper. Pleased, I identified it with my signature and the word Windsurf. Then put all the gear back in the rucksack and prepare to retrace my steps, before the noonday heat made it impossible.

At this moment, a tall male figure detached itself from the scenery and made his way towards me. A great slab of a man! A dark skinned Singhalese, his white teeth showing in a big friendly grin at me. Indeed, he is approaching me and stopping only a couple of yards away. “Good Morning Madam” in the confident tone of a person who has been expected. Formally, he told me his name and then asked me the inevitable “Where did I come from?”. 

Well, of course, ordinarily, one would tell such an intruder, “Where to get off!!”. But!, when he said his name was Patrick!, admittedly my armour melted somewhat and I had to laugh and tell him what a coincidence it was as today happened to be Saint Patrick’s day.  

My spontaneous show of amusement encouraged him to sit himself down not far from me, and continue the normal litany that “tourists” get.  Fast continuing on,  as he sees that I am preparing to depart, to give me his address. Not far,  near by No 6 Flower avenue, where, he said, the woman he lived with, was mostly out. He invites me to come by for a cup of tea. Me getting to my feet and making my retreat as he asked if I would be so nice as to show him my private parts.!

Without putting on my shoes and wishing him a polite goodbye, as though I had not understood him (and what he had just said!), I left the shade and started to walk towards the distant sea. 

This is the moment where you folks watching the film get a laugh. My dignified exit is rather spoiled by me leaping into the air with a yelp and then making a hasty retreat, to put the flip-flops on my feet. It had felt like red hot nails, and I am no Fakir!  

Then, with a nonchalant wave to Patrick, I set off across the baking hot stretch of yellow sand. It feels for all the world as though I have landed in the Gobi desert having just left an oasis, I must find my way to the next coolness. A shimmering mirage way up in front of me. The breeze has strengthened and is hot, as though the hairdresser had made a mistake and set the hair-dryer on high..

Oh my. This is one exciting part of the film. Will she make it? Or will she die of sun-stroke, her body to be claimed and examined by Patrick. But then, of course (silly Nanny) you are already dead, and this is the rehearsal for a funny Movie. (Previewed as the newest British comedy hee hee).

 I glance back to see if Patrick is following, but he has disappeared. As have all the exercisers and walkers.  But there are, I see to my relief, some many people bathing and enjoying the Ocean at its merriest. I would love to join them but there is nowhere safe to leave my bags. But it is delicious enough to arrive at the waters edge and with no delay, to splash my way back the way I had come. By now I have tied the longi around my hat and like a Bedouin, my head bent against the wind, I forge ahead. 

Now I re-realise the distance I had travelled so carelessly in the coolness of the early morning. With some dismay, I know I have made a mistake. The film-music takes a dramatic pitch as I stop walking and assess my situation. My face and legs are burning and there was still some considerable way back to the Hotel. And then!! Just as the feeling of extreme and awful panic is to be seen on my red face, you guys watching the Movie, want to say to me: “Look, up there, somebody tall and thin is waving and beckoning to you, from under a group of tall palm trees.” Was it the promised Uncle God 

Yes, and I hear you and turn around and spot Manjula who, as always , is keeping a good eye out for people in such a predicament as me. Plus, of course, he is looking for customers(!!). 

“Good Morning Madam,” he calls, against the wind which is blowing up into something like a sand storm, “Come this way”, indicating with a wave of one long brown arm, what I now see, is a really neat tropical Beach Café. 

A truly entrancing location for the meeting of Shiva and Shakti. Due to happen today. But; just what I had to do, to trigger off whatever had to be done to produce this elusive guy? You could ask me another. Although, in general of course, it was, super-naturally factual, that, the best things always happened when one lets it be.

In fact, to give the whole thing a kick up the butt, the script say, (& I follow it), that I drop my precious refuelable lighter in the sand and for this reason, return to Manjula’s Beach café , right at the time when Shiva with his friend Guatam Buddha are taking an aperitif there.

However!. By the time I reached Manjula’s Café that first time. Rescued!, we knew our role! In a stately manner we let our self be  seated at one of the four wooden tables. Furthest away from the (obviously hand-made) bar where Manjula disappeared behind a curtain, to get me a cold soda. He had informed me politely that one could stay here all day for 5 rupees and drinks cost  

Of course, this was the solution for the daytime hours. Lovely and cool, under a roof of palm fronds, with one’s feet in deep raked-through sand. Behind me, I spied a row of little cabins, for changing after bathing, and was that a hose? There were no other guests and Manjula left me discreetly to myself, so that I could regain my composure, smoke my pipe, drink the soda and relax.

Then, with lunch in mind, paid my bill and continued on through the shade provided by great trees under which, now I saw, many other cafés and bars and tiny restaurants were concealed. Behind them runs the railroad and soon I am clambering back over the rails, retracing my steps to the Surrender Rooms. 

My travelling bag is still there. I take a hasty shower in the tiny bathroom, smother myself with anti sun, redress in a manner acceptable in the 5* Hotel, where Raffi  would return to and invite me and then, darn it! I notice that my silver lighter is missing. Hastily, I repack the cream coloured cotton rucksack and make my hasty way back to the Café.  

Which is where the music starts as we pass through, once again, the 7^th fire, transcending the mind, entering through the heart. 

Stan Parker plays the ghost of a Pakistani business man, who is killed in a car accident on his way to the Airport, en route to Düsseldorf, Germany via a stopover in Columbo. Super naturally on timed, this young handsome intelligent man, enters the Afterlife at the same moment as Mary Potisin. Their bodies, were, unknown to them, taken over by the Hindu God & Goddess of Eros! Shiva & Shakti, to act out together some poignantly beautiful scenes in Sri Lanka’s Lovely.

DEMOCRATS SMELL BLOOD !! (read Polly O’Tickells report/Friday.)

Blair welcomed by Bush on Capitol Hill.
He tells the U.S. Congress he will be vindicated for pursuing war in Iraq.

 British Tony Blair captures the hearts and minds of the American people.

 In a speech which was greeted with an ovation of joy, by the U.S. Congress, Prime Minister Blair
 demonstrates that “flattery” will get you everywhere.

Blair was met with cheers and a standing ovation as he prepared to make a rare speech to Congress in Washington. Before getting on to the substance of his speech, he seized the opportunity to warm up his audience, by starting with “I am deeply touched by that warm and generous welcome. More than I deserve and more than I am used to, quite frankly”((a good example of a British understatement)).

In his speech, he urged the U.S.A. & the U.S.E. not to allow their differences over Iraq to interfere with the international fight on terrorism. He also defended the war. Saying it was justified, even if no evidence of weapons of mass destruction was found.

At a news conference afterwards, President Bush insisted that Iraq did possess such weapons and that under Saddam Hussein the country had been a grave and growing threat which justified invasion in March.

Mr Blair dwelled on the threat of terrorism, a new and deadly virus whose capacity to inflict pain(he said), has been enlarged by technology. Referring to Iraq, he said he “believed” with every fibre of his instinct (!), in the dangers of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction coming together. “Humanity” he said, would not forgive them if they hesitated in challenging it. They must seek to unify the world through liberty. Not a Western value, but a universal one. He said that America must listen as well as lead, but that it should never apologise for its values.

Mr. Blair also said, “There has never been a time when American power was so necessary and also, so misunderstood. The immediate threat, he said, was not conflict between the world’s most powerful countries, but from shadows and darkness and that many millions suffered under brutal dictatorships. He stressed that International terrorism wouldn’t be defeated without peace in the Middle East in which the security of Israel couldn’t be compromised.

So what do the American people think about this?  Mary Lord reports:

O I think Mr. Blair hit absolutely every touchy feeling, every heart button, every “near and dear” to every American Politician’s heart with that speech. They were on their feet, there were smiles playing on the lips of the Secretary of State (i.e. Colin Powell, the man with the towel), and everybody else. Because of the emphasis on freedom, liberty and America’s sort of manifest destiny to lead the world in freedom. This is a subject that plays very well on the stumps across this country.

Also, he put the current Iraq conflict, the issue of whether this whole war was undertaken on false intelligence. “Cooked Books” even! Into a much bigger picture. That this is a war against terrorism and that kind of war is a different kind of beast that includes “going in” and it essentially creates freedom and liberty in countries that don’t have it now.

Blair’s speech was

A shadow falls across President Bush’s re-election chances, in the form of a sagging economy. The U.S. officials say the deficit in the governments finances is likely to be the highest yet!

The Iraqi war is going to be a real drag on the American budget.

United States officials say that the deficit in the governments finances was likely to be $ four hundred and fifty five billion dollars this year which would be a record in cash terms. The uncertain outlook for the economy was underlined by the Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan who suggested that he was prepared to keep interest rates at current very low levels (1% for the main policy rate), for some time yet. He hinted that further cuts, perhaps down to zero, may be on the agenda if there was a renewed deterioration in economic performance.

United Nations appeal to U.S. for military help in Liberia

Ironically, (says one expert), when we had an International Security Event that was in the United States vital interest and was in the interest of global security (Iraq’s nuclear threat), the U.N. Council failed to give support. Now we have (in his opinion) a 3^rd World Backwater (Liberia)  & we have the U.N. Secretary coming out with pleas for U.S. involvement!

It is important to recognise what the U.N. Security Council is. It is a forum in which major states can agree or disagree on issues of international importance. On Iraq there was severe disagreement and so it was entirely appropriate that the U.N. didn’t act. It only acts when there is agreement. Liberia like many conflicts is indeed a “back-water, it is indeed an irrelevant conflict to everyone but the hundreds of thousands of people who have been suffering in Liberia and its neighbouring countries in West Africa. This is precisely the kind of issue where the U.N. can play a major role; where it can bring together the States to act in International Interest rather than simply focusing on their own narrow national security interests.

President Bush has pledged a billion dollars to the anti Aids fund, under the condition that the EU (European Union), matches the contribution!

It’s bad in Baghdad

Baghdad in the summer is not a place to wear body armour, carry rifles, other arms and the bits and pieces that make up a modern soldier’s kit. It’s around 45° Celsius  and it’s rare to see an American soldier who isn’t sweating or wiping his or her face down. The U.S. government may want a military presence there, but the men and women who make up that military simply want to go home. Sergeant Justin Bowman of the 3^rd Infantry on patrol in Baghdad heard the news of his distended deployment and wasn’t pleased. He said “I am very upset. I’ve got a wife and two kids at home that I want to get home to. I’ve done my time over here. It’s just time to go home. I’ve been here and in S.E. Asia for almost 10 months. We were supposed to go back home in March and then the war happened and then they said May and then it was supposed to be July and then we found out that we aren’t going home yet.”

The Iraqis themselves have a very difficult relationship with U.S. troops, who are extremely pleased that they toppled the Saddam regime, but Iraq is not a U.S. state and they wonder when the streets will be free of the U.S. hulking tanks and barbed wire & concrete checkpoints. They want to see the back of U.S. troops, but other people, on the streets, are happy with the soldier’s presence. One Iraqi member of the new council said “There will be Civil war if they go. So their staying there is necessary! Nobody wants them to go out of Iraq before the diplomatic military is ready and well trained.

Does Iraq need, in this post-war period, a continuing presence of American troops?

One opinion was “Iraq needs security certainly. The presence of the Americans is only heightening the lack of security because they are an occupying force. An Iraqi is no different from anybody else in the world, who has an occupying force. Occupying force are the enemy. They have to take action against them whether they are pro-Saddam or whatever their political affiliation is. That is one of the main reasons for lack of security. Another important element is that the U.S. Force HAS NOT imposed any law and order.”

 But, if these well armed and trained American forces can’t impose order, how can it be expected that Iraqi forces do any better. Their army has collapsed!”

Yes, this is part of the stupidity of the Americans. They dismantled everything including the Doctors and the Lawyers and the Teachers and everybody else.

There are also a lot of allegations and complaints about what the Americans are up to! Iraqis complain of being beaten up by or having things stolen from them by the American soldiers. An accuser said that some American soldiers, and not just a few, are getting themselves into trouble. There are incidences where soldiers have stolen property from the Iraqi citizens. Whilst searching houses, they also steal peoples things. Or the checkpoint situation and roving patrols will just choose to stop people randomly in traffic. A lot of this comes from the original position was that people travelling with large sums of money MUST somehow be connected to the former regime and therefore the Americans did not feel any moral wrong-doing in taking it.

Another American soldier shot dead on duty in Baghdad. Details are sketchy but initial reports say there was an explosion & 2 other soldiers were badly wounded.

One of the strategies of the resistance to American occupation in Iraq, is to assassinate and intimidate all those Iraqis who are working with the coalition to establish order and security. Like Police Officers and sabotaging utilities.

Meanwhile the new Iraqi Council is in the process of setting up a preparatory commission to look at how to deal with former officials of Saddam Hussein’s regime. Proposals ranged from full trials to a South African style “truth and reconciliation” commission.

Procedure was always going to be the 1^st task of the Council. Who will lead it? Who will speak for it? How it will vote? Even, how many times a week it will meet. Members have discussed, for 2 days now, who will lead it? There is unlikely to be an announcement before Thursday. The council is considering how to deal with the crimes of the old regime.

Meanwhile, fear of sexual assault is preventing Iraqi women from playing a part in rebuilding the country. .The Human Rights Watch says the failure of the U.S. lead administration in Baghdad, to provide public security has made women more vulnerable to sexual violence. Their fear is so great that many Iraqi women are scared to leave their homes, even to attend schools or go to work. There has been a big rise in the number of rapes in the city since the end of the war and for the first time there are reports of women and girls being abducted from the streets. Sometimes in broad daylight!! Iraqi Policemen tend to give a low priority to allegations of sexual violence and the situation is being compounded by the current security vacuum. There aren’t enough police or resources. Many medical facilities have reduced their working hours making it more difficult to document such crimes and provide victims with medical assistance.

BUSH FIRES, FOREST FIRES, Fires that threaten people’s environment, their homes and even their lives. Fire seldom seems to be out of the news for long. It’s almost as if it were part of nature itself and that is exactly the case. Fire simply happens. It’s out there, part of the fabric of many of these landscapes. Just as water and sunshine and other sorts of natural components are. So one can think of fire regimes and the plants and animals in the particular location would be adapted to that regime. It may be that this location has frequent surface fires. It may be that they only have fires every twenty or thirty years. Maybe they come every 2 or 300 years. But it is to that pattern that life accommodates itself. If you change that pattern then the system is no longer adapted to it and that’s the issue with fire.

And as we will hear, that is an adaptation that we lose at our peril .

By contrast, many plants seem particularly well adapted to fire. Able to either resist it or even to benefit from it. Plants in particular may put on thick bark. Many can re-sprout very quickly from the roots or from the stem and even from the tips after they have been burned. Many will recede very quickly. The Australian grass tree essentially only flowers after it has been emulated, after it has been burned.

Phoenix from the ashes.

 So sort of “Phoenix” plants are around. Cones, for instance, in the Jack Pine in North America. The flash of fire running through the canopy is very hot but short and enough to melt that cone and release the seeds, which then flutter to the ground after the fire has passed and land in the ash. They have in effect been slashed by the fire that burned the landscape and planted the seed. This is the sort of natures version of that and it’s very successful. 

Even today ignition is often natural. In Arizona, the forests in the South West before the rainy season starts, in July we get very pronounced dry lightening storms. If you look at a lightening map of Arizona & New Mexico, it is basically lit up at that time of the year with possible ignitions.

When the fires burn it isn’t only the local environment that suffers. Sometimes the smoke plumes spreads out down wind and can effect air quality across a whole continent.

Around this time of the year forest fires happen most in the South West, but then, as the season progresses, the fires move Northward and may reach Colorado in September as the forests dry out. 

In 1997 & 98 the green house gas contributed from the forests that burned in Indonesia equalled all the production of Europe for that year. And it’s not just forests that are burning. Natural fires on many continents have been eating into coal seams and dried peat bogs. They calculate that extinguishing such fires in Borneo alone would stop green house gas admissions by as much as if you stopped all the cars in North America! 

In some parts of the world and notably in North America itself, fire-fighting has been particularly successful. Right now, in Colorado, on one portion of the fire they have six aerial bombers, four helicopters and 10 or 12 bulldozers. They are working hard and against tremendous odds and progress comes very grudgingly.

Such devastation is the legacy of success with fire-fighters. Had we not upset the natural ecology of fire such consecrations would be rare. We would like to think that we have a complete control over fire but it has an existence quite apart from us and so, denying fire can be self-defeating because it means that combustibles that would have been burned up routinely, now can build up to very large quantities and then when a fire gets in it, it will burn with really savage intensity. Well beyond the capacity of these forests to accept. We’ve changed the pattern by denying fire.

We are a fire preacher. We are uniquely so. WE DO FIRE!!

All human cultures have the capacity to deal with fire and no other creature does. Other animals knock over trees and dig holes in the ground, but we do fire. That is our signature, our ecological agency. We do what no other creature does.

FIRE INSIDE THE FURNACE: melting iron for the weapons.

Inside the furnace, the temperatures achieved are 22 hundred degrees centigrade!  A continuous process operating 365 days of the year. Swinging the drill round to what is called the tap-hole it then drills like somebody with a home drill which creates a wonderful sight. Real firework display as all these little sparks fly out first. Just as the iron comes out of the hole. It has now settled down and it looks as though it is flowing as freely as water. An awesome sight to see the liquid iron rushing out.

So fire still does play a central role in our lives, but with central heating., electric cookers and lighting and internal combustion engines, are we losing touch with the living flame? Now it’s all transmitted in or through electricity; we’re getting it (FIRE) through 2^nd or 3^rd hand, it’s all abstract.

But in the days where people lived by the fire, made their tools over fires, made their houses over fires, they made their fields, fed themselves over fire. They were very close to fire. It was always around. That’s a presence that we’ve lost.

The Search Engine and Email provider made more than $50 million dollars in the last 3 months. That’s up from $20 million a year previously. So Tech stocks don’t always lose. They win occasionally & it’s good news for they who have been investing in Tech stocks the past few years.

Yahoo is one of the few Internet companies that has ridden out the fall in the value of technology stocks over the past couple of years, the bursting of the dot com bubble and come out the other side.

NORTH Korea is pushing ahead with it’s nuclear weapons program.

North Korea has reprocessed nuclear fuel rods and tested devices which could be used in a Nuclear Weapons program. In recent weeks N. Korea has said it has already processed 8000 fuel rods, enough to build 6 or 7 bombs.

The report by a South Korean Intelligence Agency is the strongest evidence so far that N. Korea is pushing ahead with it’s nuclear weapon program in defiance of the United States. Similar information was leaked by American Intelligence a few days ago..

ENFLAMED dispute claims first victim!

 IN EUROPE today, Thursday, July 10^th, a high level war of words between Italy and Germany has claimed it’s first victim. The summer holiday of the German Chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder.

Mr. Schroeder cancelled his planned holiday in Italy after a junior Italian Minister described German tourists as super nationalistic, arrogant blonde louts!! The comment enflamed a dispute which began when the Italian Prime Minister compared German Parliament Member as resembling a Nazi concentration camp guard.

So Mr Schroeder isn’t going to Italy after all. He cancelled his plans in protest at an Italian official who described German tourists as Hypo-Nationalists, blonde.

So, Gerhard and his wife Doris will stay at home in Hannover.

Casting a woeful light on the relationship between the two Governments. In one light this is quite trivial but it is getting quite serious. Serious on 2 levels. First, it casts a terrible shadow over the start of the Italian EU Presidency. This is the 2^nd week on the job and their 2^nd major diplomatic row. Doesn’t look good. The 2^nd point is, of course, that about ten million Germans spend their holidays in Italy every year and they leave billions of Euros there in money they’ve spent. There must be concerns in Italy that this whole row will affect that.

The Actors “Art to walk out” is, of course, just one of a series of Industrial disputes in France this year and in fact, just one of a series of disputes right across Europe. Austria, Germany, France and Britain have all seen major walk outs.

Teachers have been the most militant. They’ve been out on strike at least 10 times this year, partly about the Government’s reform proposals, specifically education but also about the Pensions issue which has also “brought out” Air-traffic controllers, truck drivers, train drivers that have really affected the economy.

More strikes than usual in France this year? No, the seem about average. France does tend to have a “Summer Striking season” because generally, there is a government trying to push forward terms that the trade union people don’t like. France is used to strikes.

IIRAQ still too hot for refugees to return to

The United Nation’s Refugee Agency ruling out the mass repatriation of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi refugees this year because the country is too unstable. Around half a million Iraqis who fled Saddam Hussein’s regime are believed to want to return. But the U.N.’s special envoy to Iraq says worsening security, particularly around Baghdad & the lack of basis services would mean simply that many returnees would simply leave again, causing even more stability. Only small numbers of refugees should be allowed back to Iraq at a time .

Some intelligence material referring to Iraq was “UNSOUND!!”.

A CIA official has told the BBC that the Bush administration had been warned that some intelligence material relating to Iraq, was unsound. Months before President Bush used it in a key note speech.

Fresh doubts have been cast on the quality of intelligence information used by the U.S. to justify the war on Iraq.

Questions were raised as early as March last year about allegations that Saddam Hussein had tried to buy weapons-grade uranium from the West African State of Nigere. The White House has now admitted that the claim which was attributed to British Intelligence was wrong because it was based on documents that turned out to be forgeries.

The BBC has turned down a request from the British Government to cooperate in identifying the source for a news report on Iraq. The reporter alleged that Tony Blair had exaggerated the potential threat of Saddam Hussein on the run up to the Iraq war. It has caused a prolonged row between the British government and the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation).

The BBC maintains that reporters cannot be compelled to reveal their resources.

Bush in South Africa

President Bush now in South Africa on his tour of five African countries. He is spending 3 nights in S.A., the longest stop of his tour. Testimony to the relative power of the South African economy and to the prominent diplomatic and military role the country enjoys in Africa. As in other countries there will be much talk about trade, terrorism and the fight against aids. S. Africa has the largest H.I.V infected population in the world, making these talks especially important. They will also discuss Zimbawe. The Americans want President Robert McGarby to go. The South Africans might agree in private, but they have a much gentler, more diplomatic approach.

American President apologises to the Africans for former U.S. Slave Trade.

President Bush has begun his first tour of Africa in Senegal where he described the transatlantic slave trade as one of the greatest crimes of History. He was speaking on Gory Island from where hundreds of thousands of Africans were sent to America on slave ships.

From Senegal: Mr Bush came close to an outright apology to Slavery which one of his senior advisers called “America’s Birth defect”!. The American Republic “founded on equality”, he said, “Became a prison for millions as slaves. He called slavery one of the greatest crimes of History and in a speech, laced with Evangelical references, he said that the U.S.’s power and resources, committed it to further the cause of freedom in Africa too. He has matched his words with $dollars, committing billions to combat Aids. But he has been more cagey on the issue that has over shadowed this visit. IF & WHEN, U.S. peace keeping troops will be sent to nearby Liberia.

IIn Liberia, forces loyal to the President Charles Taylor have prevented a team of American Military experts from visiting a refugee camp outside the Capital Monrovia. The U.S. team, in Liberia, to assess the humanitarian situation was turned back from a check point a few km. from the camp. It’s not yet clear why. Earlier, cheering crowds had took to the streets of Monrovia to welcome the Americans.

Ordinary Liberians are convinced the military experts will be followed by a sizeable contingency of U.S. troops.

Road Map to Peace “thrown off track” again.

Palestinian Prime Minister Abbas has called off a meeting scheduled for Wednesday with Ariel Sharon. The immediate issue threatening to throw the ROAD MAP off track is the release of 6000 Palestinian prisoners. The Israelis have agreed to free several hundred of them but correspondents say that is not enough to satisfy the Palestinian Militants who made the issue a condition of their cease fire .

In Afghan, in Kabul, the Pakistani Embassy attacked.

Hundreds of men with sticks and stones attacked and partly ransacked the building. The Pakistani Ambassador said he held the Afghan Government responsible.

The attack bore all the signs of an organised assault. About 500 men took part and some of them arrived in trucks. They broke most of the Embassy’s windows, ransacked the rooms .

In IRAN Wednesday, 9^th July

In Iran, authorities have taken measures to prevent demonstrations by students to mark the 4^th Anniversary of student riots. Teheran University has banned all off-campus rallies and closed the dormitories where an attack on a student gathering by Islamic Vigilantes in 1999 sparked the riots. One of the student groups has issued an OPEN LETTER; condemning the ban and asking for support from the United Nation’s Secretary Kofi Annan. Correspondents say Iran is trying to avoid a resumption of protest against the Clerical Establishment.

Ferry Capsizes and sinks in Southern Bangladesh river swollen by Monsoon rains.

Initial reports suggest the Ferry was overcrowded. Carrying not just 750 passengers but also a big cargo of rice and vegetables. Tragedy struck just before midnight when the ferry hit turbulent waters at a place where three rivers merge. It was a point not far from a ferry terminal and many of the survivors swam to safety. Others were rescued by local fishermen and other ferries in the vicinity.

There are so many of them, these civilised people, that it is always crowded where they are, live or move. In rhythm with the other billions who have to be at work from 9 to 5 ,they stand in lines waiting; they sit in long traffic jams on their daily way to and from work and of course, also, even when they take their summer holidays, the roads are full, accident rate high. Beaches are packed, crime rate for opportunists high. Tourism it is called. These people are in the rat race and Mr. & Mrs Jones , want to be the first. O Mirror Mirror, on the wall, which of them is the most horrible of all.? They don’t know. They are unaware. They are, all three, fast asleep in frog pyjamas. But they still want to know “why people don’t like us”?

Nowadays Folks, as you e. XBXBs have discerned, the state uses jobs, or rather the illusion of jobs, as a mechanism for control over something virtual which makes the majority behave like sheep. This factor, which the majority are not even aware of, is the collective consciousness. Fed by the Media, supported by politicians, governments, religious leaders and also by the psychologists who have not gone beyond Freud.

The collective consciousness is so useful in keeping the “civilised” masses doing what they’re supposed to do. i.e. WORK and pay taxes to the State. Or, go to war. It does mean, though, that the majority are made to live inside a reality, which does not exist.

 Sometimes though, through what looks like an accident or a misfortune, a white sheep type person, albeit M or F., finds themselves in this lovely reality where everything starts happening as though one is ON SET in an amusingly amazing film.

The Collective consciousness functions as one whole. It does not allow individuals to be decisive on their own. People don’t have SPACE to feel freedom and individuality.

Man and woman have completely forgotten that SOLITUDE IS A SPIRITUAL  NECESSITY. Perhaps most of the tensions of man is because of the crowd. Solitude is a necessity for your sanity but the crowd goes on getting bigger and bigger; wherever you are, you’re in a crowd. Slowly, slowly you forget completely that there was a need for solitude. So man and woman remain pygmies. They don’t grow their souls. There is no space for those souls to expand.

The first thing is solitude, the 2^nd thing is defiance. One has to be a rebel. One has to say NO to the crowd. One has to decide for himself. One has to make it clear to everybody that nobody is going to decide for you.

If you have a deep contentment that whatever you wanted to become you have become, you will be the richest person in the world.

President Bush in Africa, at the so called “Door of no return”!!

The President is quite clear about what he wants from his DASH THROUGH  5 African countries. He wants support for his war on terror and access to oil, chief among them. But is he taking the right approach to Africa’s problem?

In New Jersey, a staunch supporter of the President said “I think George Bush has an understanding of the strategic importance of Africa to the U.S.

Events change and of course, on the 9/11 everything changed. For BUSH and the rest of us.

When something like a 9/11 takes place, there are several things that you think about. One of which is “Where can you find allies to help you in your future endeavours,?” and the other is “Why is it that people don’t like me?”

I think we are looking at the answer to both questions and Africa rises in importance.

President Bush is talking about further aid program and an anti aids program. Is that the way to win the hearts and minds of Africa. Give it what it’s asking for?

“Aid to Africa has always been money down a rat-hole”! said the staunch supporter! “Right now you have about 30million Africans who have Aids, but what is really extraordinary that Bush has offered $ 15 billion dollars over a period of time, which is an enormous amount of money.

But, is Africa going to be offered anything it wants in this trip to Africa.? This trip is obviously a combination of “Good Press” and information gathering. Whether it results in anything over and above what has already been put on the table remains to be seen.

Just a press opportunity?

As long as Bush is not completely oblivious of where he is. He is obviously going to obtain a new impression of Africa than the one he has.

So OIL is another thing that the President wants to look at. Do you think the shopping list of what he, Bush wants, is rather longer than his list of what he is going to be offering?

He has to present a situation where he comes to Africa interested in their needs and what Africa needs to develop in order to be contributing to the world economy and the world situation. That means they need aid in defeating the aids problem that they have there. But related to this is poverty reduction and economic advancement for wide ranges of the population.

Certainly, it is very serious, they are trying to “play it down” and Paul Bremen said, yesterday, that it was the acts of desperate men. Christians who collude with this are simply not living out their calling. President Bush gets warning from South Africa, NOT TO INTERFERE!!

In Africa, the President of Zimbabwe, former Southern Rhodesia, has warned President Bush not to interfere in his country’s affairs when he visits Africa next week. Mr. McGarby, said at a rally, that, if Mr. Bush was coming to tell African countries how to run their affairs, he would be spurned.

Conjoined twin Iranians to be separated in pioneer surgery.(Monday)

In Iran, the entire country is praying for the success of the pioneering surgery to separate adult twins who were born joined together at the scull.

Doctors in Singapore are beginning surgery to separate 29 year old conjoined twins from Iran. The first operation of its kind on adults. The twins are joined at the skull but have separate brains. The operation is thought to take 48 hours to complete.

Leading specialists in the field have gathered in Singapore to carry out the procedures expected to take several days. The surgery has sparked moral debate because their condition in itself was not life threatening but the women wanted to take the risk of surgery in the hope of a better quality of life.

Indeed, we could not and, errh, cannot expect much reward for even the most bloody borings things we are supposed to do. That’s why there are two of us. So that we can exchange roles and one Barby Doll goes off location. Her needs frequently, a holiday, from being Herself. Strengthened, full of new ideas and fresh surprises, the relaxed twin takes over. This makes (indeed) for complications and misunderstandings on all “fronts” of our shared life. Writing to you from ON LOCATION in a town called “Anywhere” for the filming  of HeRstory, “Heaven On earth. 

Me and My Sister

For the sake of sanity, had to be fully aware of this retributive factor in working out the Victorian’s karmic debts. It became a joke between us. Because, guarantied, something always went drastically wrong ON LOCATION in the filming of the SOAP BOX series. Which inevitably saw B.A.D. (Barbara Anne Dolla) getting the thin end of the stick.

Such unfortunate incidents lead to us “losing all”, falling out with the current lover, or having to leave the scene hurriedly. Of course, as you 500+ followers know, ho ho ho, it is, of course, all in the cause of following the Herstory Script. We were constantly “on the move” which saw the cosmically operating Realtors being kept busy, finding us, with the minimum of fuss, perfect pads where we could write the BEST SELLER and launch it, first on the Americans.

ANYWHERE.  Sounds like the perfect place to LOCATE a secret filming. For, logically, nobody, for the sake of authenticity, had to know what was really going on. They had their parts, but when it was time to depart, to make room for the next DREADFULL DRAMA where other, different people took leading roles, something had to happen to make them disappear from off the scene.

 ANYWHERE is a Comedy-Town.

Making people laugh, acting daft, livening things up in general is all part of the Strategy. Remember? Q.V. said “We are not amused.” In HER Last Life. In this Life, NOW, Q.V. has to be Her who does the amusing.

Certainly, the White Eagle Soaring saw, immediately that some sort of chain of Angels, were operating in Anywhere, to try to ensure that he stayed long enough to take the Herstory bait.

For a start, a host of different kinds of Anywherian women, were served up to him, to take care of him and his needs, whilst he did the job. More doors than ever before opened for the virile American with the blue eyes, the long hair and full of songs to sing. Sounding like the beach boys or Elton John or whoever you want. Soon he was visiting the GCC: Global Chaos cracking concern’s CRISIS CENTRE. For translations, legal advice and, when D.D. was there, a sanity check. To convince himself that he had not gone mad, it was just that, in Anywhere, most of the people were, for the evolutionised XBXB AAH, errh, not very bright. Doll explained to him about the alcohol, that 90% of the Anywherians were <conceived under the influence of>and who were made into alcoholics on their beer drinking Mother’s breasts. Sentenced to life time alcoholism from birth.

However, White Eagle Soaring was being stripped of everything he had, to make him light enough to take off, almost as naked as the day he had been born. The Anywherians had ripped the American off. Stealing his leather jacket, his Sunday pants and taking the very skin off of his cute revealing red Indian nose, as far as money-savings, valuable computers etc etc etc. ALL GONE.

The American Red Indian was given a spare key to Q.V.’s Home Pad on the Garden Road, overlooking the river, with the park and the woods behind, to unwind anytime. It had been worked out in the Script, that, apart from such soul-saving incidents (as Venus came to Düsseldorf and invited White Soaring (AAH), to tea) nobody else but Baa & Baa Black sheep, could really speak proper English, understand the Yank’s dilemmas, so as to help him in all ways and same time feed him the bait.

In July 2000., after White Eagle Soaring produced the goods, i.e. the colourfully on-lined website hanging in the Cyber sky and Barb went with him to the biggest Anywhere Bank and signed with him, a JOINT ACCOUNT. They would go 50/50% shares, in the proceeds made by selling the reading-right password code to Herstory, A Film Script from and for the GRATEFULLY DEAD.

Not even expecting it, or having planned it, (perhaps he had dreamed of it). But, anyway, he was, at the first glance into B.A.D.’s brightly expectant eyes, in some sort of a trance. This meant he was, like the whole Caste, Voo-doohed to do what the Script told him to do. He felt obliged to visit “Her”, encourage her to demonstrate her trippple Art. (written, recorded, illustrated). The over title of Her Film, Victoria’s Vision, is

That was what White Eagle Soaring saw, stuck in his DREAM CATCHER. The Dream-catcher with the pearl, the amethyst and the snowy white under feathers of some young eagle.

The Red Indian American, a shaman medicine man, understood quite soon, that “Existence had entrusted him with a seed, that could, if he did it good, have him swimming in money as more and more people recognised the fun of reading the opinions of the Crazy Crew, who do what they have to do onboard Eastward Go. in a town called Anywhere.

Walking together in the Spring Woods ON LOCATION in Dallas W.O., (Western Ooropa). the Red Indian suggested to Barb Dolla, that, instead of trying to publish HeRstory as a book, she should serve it up in a Website as Entertainment.

That this meant, the whole serial story had to be re-written as it was not acceptable as typed on a hand machine. We had to get a computer and learn how to work it. The American invite us, one by one (what fun, he had not noticed the difference). He took us out in the far woods, miles away from Anywhere, where he was spending some weeks of the late summer, in a wooden gypsy cart parked under an apple tree. Or, as my Sister said, he also had a big big double bed under the Eaves in a huge old house. There, he taught, first her, then me, to get into Internet. Giving us an Email and explaining the fundamentals of on-lining, filing etc.

Soon after, the American took his leave, taking the discetted website & many fotographs of Barb & Babsie Dolla, the Royal Pretender & stand-by, with the “pretend rights” of being the Royal Bastards of King Edward VIIIth. White Eagle Soaring soared back to the U.S.A. to spend THANKSGIVING with his Mom & Dad.

Me & My Sister saw HeRstory as LAUNCHED on America, as a Film Script for Hollywood.

The selling simultaneously strategy, went smoothly into action

PROMPTED by an outbreak of MAD COW disease. We found ourselves evacuating the meat-eating Ooropa, to spend the late cold weeks in heatening up India. There we kept contact with White Eagle Soaring back in the U.S. who kept us supplied with jokes and ideas.
