Mr. Colin Powell, (the man with the towel), is starting talks in Israel.

Aimed at giving impetus to the carrying out of the Road Map to Peace, launched, originally, by President Bush, earlier this week.

For a long time, Colin Powell has avoided coming to Israel, but now he is back. His 2^nd visit in little over a month. Effectively, the pace of the Road Map has not moved all that beyond the starting line.

Each side will be keen to show that it’s making some kind of progress. Israel’s Sharon will point to the demolition of a number of Jewish settlement outposts in the West Bank, as a sign that he’s following the demands of the peace plan. But in reality, settlers have tended to rebuild outposts as soon as they’ve been taken down. Palestine’s Prime Minister will point to the fact that he has started Cease-Fire talks with Hamas and other Pal. “Armed Groups”.

The former French President, Monsieur Giscard D’Estaing, is presenting his draught European Constitution to the E.E. Leaders, gathered near the Greek city of Thessalonika .

The draught Constitution advocates sweeping changes and the Greek Presidency of the E.U. says:

“The framework of this new Constitution, will make Europe an equal partner of the United states in world affairs.’

BUT: Members still differ on the aspects of the draught. This, their first face to face discussion over the draught of EU constitution, will show how profound are the differences among them over this grand political project.

Some of the leaders are thought likely to register important objections to various aspects of the document, but to agree that the text is a good starting point for the earnest negotiations they will hold together in the Autumn to arrive at a final version.

Briefly, the key points of the draught, drawn up by a cross-section of politicians meeting in the convention will be approved for a new, full-time  President of the U.S.E. and a new Foreign Minister or Foreign Policy representative.

American Forces in Iraq say they have arrested Saddam Hussein’s Secretary Mahmoud Tikriti who is 4^th on the American’s list of most wanted members of the former regime.

They are giving little detail of the arrest, saying only that it took place in Iraq, but there will be delight in the White House that Mahmoud Tikriti is in custody. He was regarded as being 3^rd in Hussein’s chain of command. He is said to have controlled access to Hussein and was one of the people Hussein trusted completely. It’s possible that he may be able to cast some light on the fate of his Boss and possibly in the search for weapons of mass destruction. Officials say they want to put Takriti on trial for war crimes & crimes against humanity allegedly committed during the period of Saddam Hussein’s rule.

Also, to delight the White House, American troops have raided 2 farm-houses near Saddam Hussein’s home town of Tikrit. They say they seized millions of $dollars in cash as well as jewels. They said, one of Saddam’s body guards and fifty other people, believed to be connected with his intelligence had been captured.

And, not quite so delighting for the White House:

A day of unrest in Bagdhad! American troops have opened fire in Baghdad! (Thursday news)

Two people were killed and elsewhere in the Capitol an American soldier died in a drive-by shooting.

The dead Iraqis were among several hundred former Army Conscripts who gathered outside the headquarters of the American lead administration to protest about non-payment of wages. They said they were desperate for money. They had received no pay since April.

 A U.S. spokesmen said the demonstrators started throwing stones at U.S. troops.

A short time after the troops fired on the crowds, an American Soldier was shot dead and another wounded at a fuel station.

The demonstrations have been supported by President Bush.But, are the demonstrators running out of steam?

The original scene around the Teheran University has faded, because the area has been swamped by security forces including hard-lime Militia men every night as these are nocturnal protests. There is less violence and yet it seems to be spreading to other areas in a very volatile way.

The regime is responding in a paranoid manner and it is not surprising as these protests are openly propagated by Radio & T.V. stations broadcasting from America. Run by Iranian exiles but nobody knows who is funding them. They are believed to get some state funding from Washington! So, plus that, and statements from President Bush and other American leaders are making it clear that America, at least, encourages this kind of so called "democratic" expression. It has made the Iranian Regime react in a very paranoid manner because it believes the Americans are pushing this very strongly.

At the same time, there are, within the regime, of course, many reformists who sympathise with a lot of these ordinary people who are turning out to protest at the very slow pace of change and the reformists themselves within the system are very frustrated too. However, as the Americans are leading the protest, they have to be very careful how they tread. They seem to be restricting themselves at the moment, largely to soften or mitigate the blows that are being dealt to the protesters. They are trying to get the Right-wwing Vigilantes off of the streets and leave it in the hands of the legally authorised Law & Order forces.

Are the clerics getting the upper-hand again, over the reformers?

Of course, there are many reformist clerics, but the regime “diehards” who have perhaps 90% of the power are determined to defend the system as they see it.

In the United States the Head of a Panel examining the extent of a sex abuse scandal in the Roman Catholic Church, has resigned after accusing  Leading Bishops of acting like the Mafia.

The head of a committee monitoring the R.C. Church in the U.S., after a series of scandals about child sex abuse by priests, has resigned . The man, Frank Keating, came under pressure to leave his post after he had accused some leading American Bishops of acting like the Mafia.

As a former governor and prosecutor, Keating’s appointment was a politically wise move. The Catholic Lay panel he lead is charged with tracking efforts to rid the Priesthood of abusers. However, his relationship with the Clergy was tense. His complaint last week that some officials act like the Mafia (hiding and suppressing the truth) was seen my many, including the Bishop of Los Angeles, as the last straw. In his resignation letter, Frank  makes (frankly), no apologies. Defending his remarks as deadly accurate .

Germany is marking the 50^th Anniversary of the East German 1953 uprising.

Hundreds of events will be taking place all across the former East Germany. To mark the 50^th Anniversary of a bloody crack-down on political protestors by the then Communist authorities . More than one million people took part in days of strikes and demonstrations which began on June 17^th 1953 and were finally suppressed brutally by Soviet tanks and gun-fire.

SARS fears over.

The World Health Organisation says the SARS epidemic is coming under control, but it isn’t yet defeated . The worlds’ first international meeting on SARS  has brought together more than a thousand Scientists and Doctors working on the front line to control Sars. It opened with each delegate and journalist having their temperature measured as part of Malaysia’s very visible anti SARS program.

President Bush’s new Middle East envoy, Mr Wolf, is due to meet Israeli officials as he promotes the International peace plan for the M.E. known as the Road Map, which Mr Bush has strongly endorsed. In other peace efforts the Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abas, is expected to have talks with Palestinian groups.

The international atomic energy agency is due to report today that Iran is falling short of it’s obligations under treaties designed to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons.

Also, it’s now officially admitted that the unrest and wave of anti-government demonstrations on the streets of Iran’s capital city, Teheran, are :BACKED BY none other than PRESIDENT BUSH! The Iranian government meanwhile, have accused American based Farsi –language satellite t.v. stations of stirring up the trouble!!

New research suggests that anal sex  may be a major cause of the H.I.V. epidemic in Africa. Findings in the Journal of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and A.I.D.s, argue that anal intercourse is much more common in Africa than many people think.

WORLD NEWS THIS SUNDAY MORNING: 15.6.03

On an otherwise very quiet weekend here in Washington, while President Bush plays golf with his Father, the only thing that the White House has been talking about is the possible toppling of the Iranian Muslim Regime! While no one will come out publicly and say “We want some sort of VIOLENT change of regime!!”(they wouldn’t want that to happen). But, there are plenty of people in the Bush administration that would like this Iranian regime to collapse from within. Which is why, on a very quiet weekend, FULL MOON this is the only thing the White House has been talking about.                .

Are the protesters being encouraged by the support they are getting from Washington? Well, given the story of regime change in Iraq and Afghanistan which concerns Iranian Leaders and encourages dissidents, this doesn’t mean that Washington is responsible for these demonstrations in Teheran. These demonstrations have their own reasons and the participants have their own diverse motives but there is no question that the voice of sympathy, the voice of encouragement from Washington plays a significant role in creating the kinds of solidarity and hope in the dissident movement.

The moment fear is removed there is no doubt that more and more people will start to participate in these demonstrations because they are expressing their frustrations with Iran’s stagnant economy, with political repressions, & inquisitions.

Explosive discontent in Iran.

The Iranian regime has learned many lessons from other Dictatorships and there is no question that they are well equipped and organised to face these demonstrations and yet, the force they use against the demonstrators does not address the fundamental issue of discontent in the society at large.

The Israelis & the Palestinians face the new week with a specially stiff challenge. How to repair at least some of the damage caused by last week’s very heavy bloodshed. The two sides went into 3 hours of talks on Saturday night to focus on an Israeli offer to pull troops back from parts of Gaza, in return for Palestinian crack-down on Militants. There wasn’t that much optimism about progress as the talks got underway There is a lot of scope for more discussions, so there is a round of meetings today, Sunday and last night:

Another Big Military operation (again) in Iraq.

American forces have entered the town of Faluja to try to flush out the Militia Leaders. It was an operation which lasted just three hours with hundreds of U.S. Forces flooding into town in the early hours of the morning, basically targeting 16 or so buildings where Intelligence believed there might be Baath Party remnants or other anti-coalition elements hiding out. They have arrested a number of people suspected of being high ranking Baath Party activists or wanted people. And this may link up with reports that the former Iraqi Air Force Commander, Tikriti, may have been arrested during this operation. Tikriti is quite high among the 52 of the famous playing card figures that the Americans are after, so that will be a bit of a Coup.

But the town of Faluja, is back to normal now. In fact, the Americans are planning to, following flooding it with Military, they are planning to flood it, later today, with medical and school supplies & footballs and toys for the kiddies and so on. To try and win hearts and minds after having, perhaps, disturbed people during the night .

But Faluja is a Baathist stronghold, so the process of winning over hearts and minds might not be all that easy. This really the hard core of Sunni Iraq. A hot bed of support for the out-going (or out gone) regime. So it is a place where the Americans have to work very hard to win the local sympathy. It’s not as though the Americans have not been there before. (They are there all the time, obviously, as OCCUPIERS). But this was an extra operation on top of their normal operations and they have been working closely with local authorities trying to work out what they do have to do to get it right and start winning over the people. They are trying to be sensitive especially in the religious field because many of the people there are fairly devout Sunni Muslims . They are trying to get it right, but it is very hard as they are seen as an occupational force by some. They are trying not to be too heavy handed but of course that isn’t always possible in a situation where you get a lot of attacks on convoys, which was what stimulated this latest raid.

Reality Show boat on the rocks!   ( cabin fever)

Contestants on the Reality Television show in the Irish Republic had a shock when a ship in which they were sailing ran aground. The series called CABIN FEVER is following a group of men and women on board the vessel as it sails around the Irish Coast.

“Cabin Fever” has a prime time show on Irish State Broadcaster. Viewers vote for the contestants and the one with the least votes gets evicted when the ship docks in different ports. More than 6000 people have applied to take part. On Friday afternoon though, the successful ones got more than they bargained for. As if “trying to find their sea legs and impress the audience wasn’t enough, the ship ran aground on rocks off Donegal. A Life boat and helicopters were called out to help. All contestants, camera men and ship’s crew, were taken off to safety. It is not clear what went wrong but there are plans to re float the vessel for the next episode.

North and South Korea have connected railway across their heavily armed border between the two countries for the 1^st time for more than half a century.

Fifty delegates from each side attended the ceremony in the demilitarised zone . A strip of NO MAN’S LAND that has divided the countries for 50 years.  The North Korean delegate said it was a preview of what unification would look like. But the mood in the south is subdued. Re-connection of rail links is more symbol than reality .

Because, as Herstory goes, whilst Q.V. was composing and concocting the LAST LIFE SCRIPT, Her Majesty heard about that prophesy  and promptly decided to include it into her Role. Yes, indeed that would be a cute way, to have Q.V. (reborn), become, in the HeRstory, Q.Victoria II .(!!!)

Nostradamus’s prophecy also detailed (Oh, so fittingly!), that this “Royal Pretender” with her “pretend rights”, would take over the throne, in these times. After the adulterous actions of Royal Princesses had rocked the reigning Monarchy’s credibility to hold up their chosen faith. (Ha Ha Ha!, when we recall the sexual scandals that Ferdi, Di, Princess Margaret, Prince Philip, etc., have caused). This Royal Pretender, would be 71 years of age, when, in Herstory, “Her” takes over the reins of Britain and brings it back to former greatness.

Writing to you from ON LOCATION in a town called “Anywhere” for the filming of HeRstory “Heaven on Earth”.

Me and my Sister.

In the year 2000, when my identical twin Sister; known, sometimes, as Babsie, and I, were 63 years old, we were told that, finally, the book that we had been writing and illustrating, for years, would be on-lined in Internet as “Ultimate Entertainment” We were also told that, it would be (again) the Americans who would be the first to discover the infinite value of such a “British Royal Feature”. A Mystical Monarchy! Wowee! 

By this time, naturally enough, the nine “off-spring” that Barb Bara, had to “produce” (for the sake of comparisons (silly). You know from History that Victoria and Albert were married for 22 years and had nine children. Yes, indeed, by the beginning of the brilliant new Century, they turned up, one after the other at the Self-Exiled Embassy in Anywhere.

Thus, it was at the reborn H.M. Princess Beatrice’s home, that Barb met the visiting Red Indian Medicine Shaman man in her niece’s wooden entertainment hut ON LOCATION for the Soap Box Serial :Dallas W.E. (W.Europe).

It was a glorious Ooropean Spring-time, when the Soaring White Eagle landed in Anywhere. Not so many Anywherians speak good fluent comprehensible English. And although our Guest had, also, he said, Ooropean roots, he could not toot toot toot make himself understood nor get over more than the most rudimentary.

It was, accurately enough, Anywhere’s Cultural Advisor from the local Town Hall, who drove the revered Red Indian, out of the valley, into the Highlands where Victoria’s Niece, Beatrice, (Bab’s eldest born in 1937) was born and lives

The American, who was working with Dream-Catcher-Workshops” in Oorope, was looking for a good serial story to on-line in the Cyber Space wwwebsite, he wanted to learn to create. He had time & space; existence had provided him with the tools.

To whet his whistle, I told him, 1^st of all, about Q.V.s 1^st Virgin Birth. How it happened in Washington D.C. How H.M. cohabited with Master Sergeant Ronald Woods, in front of the phallic symbol of the Washington Monument! He laughed his head off. White Eagle has a very infectious laugh.

Then, in order to awaken even more interest in his revealing of the 2^nd Secret Life of Queen Victoria, I produced the British Author, Jonathan Routh’s book titled : The Secret Life of Queen Victoria.

Then, in the undisturbed informal comfort of the Dog-House Lounge, I told the Indian Shaman, about my own HeRstory. In Routh’s Book, Victoria was 52 years old, when she steamed off secretly and stayed  incognito, for some months in Jamaica, as Mrs. King. According to Routh’s book, Victoria feigned indisposal because of a chronic grout in her left nostril During her absence, Patsy Brown, John Brown’s Sister, dressed up in black widow’s weeds, let herself be seen behind the curtains of Windsor Castle. The GD’s Film Script: Sri Lanka’s Lovely!                                        by Nanny Potisin

Four years ago, when I was fooling around with the Occult, I had the chance to “Dress Rehearse” myself, the mystical goings on , in a Film to be shot in Sri Lanka.

As you who are following this RAGGAMUFFIN=BRAKE=FAST=DREADFULLY=serial=maze=  know already, this “Divine Drama” was foreseen & experienced in a punky pink dream, had by me. Soon after that elderly retired Nanny Potisin,( me), accepted Scatty Kahn’s invitation to help her with her 4 children, on a 3 week trip to Sri Lanka.

 From my point of view, (me, the Chaos Cracker) who had just had a 10 day stint helping out in the Kahn busy household, it was surely a divine stroke of luck (for me) that Scatty missed the plane. The script said: Pick up your return ticket, Düss. Colombo. & go through customs. The family will join you in the boarding lounge.  But they only made it, too late, to the Airport. I spoke with a calm Scatty who assured me that Raffi, her husband would pick me up in Colombo in the morning.

 Heaven sent, the LTU flight without 3 demanding small children and a 10 week old Isa Kamal, still on his mother’s breast! (delightful!). 

Well, anyway, in the mystical drama in the phone booth in the Düss Airport, Nanny had had a heart attack, & died standing up in the booth and the cameras follow a much younger HER stepping out of Nanny’s body.

The next scene is in Colombo Airport. All old fashioned high domed glass Airport building with so much encroaching succulent green trees and clambering plants, that one has the feeling, immediately of being in a jungle.

This is the paradise that Nanny Potisin had dreamed up for herself, as the kind of paradise that she, personally, her, the hard worked Nanny, Mary, would wake up to, in her after death experience.

However, for the sake of some interesting suspense in the Film Script, we see the complications as to how Nanny, as a bodiless ghost, cannot be seen or recognised, to be picked up by Raffi. We see him taking a Rickshaw from the Institute of Health where he is studying natural Eastern healing methods and techniques.

When he arrives at the Airport, he does not see Mary Potisin, who is waiting for him, because she  has taken on, temporary invisibility. WHY? Because of the Script silly! In this film, we want to show the viewers as many worlds as possible, that Mary, the Ghost saw, in those 3 weeks, in Sri Lanka’s Lovely.

((But there was a human-earthly reason, as to why, I found myself, at 9.a.m. local time, Monday morning, March 15^th 1999, standing with my light bright travelling bag beside me, waiting for my ride. How could I know that one had to pay to get inside to meet people. Raffi, who’s money was running out (Scatty was bringing plenty more) waited outside the Airport and finally, as I did not come out, he gave up and went back to his work. The stupid thing was that I did not have his address, not having expected to arrive on my own!

Now, any of you, who have been following Herstory, know that, in the Last Life Script, “Existence”, or what ever, frequently takes the chance, when we are travelling, to make circumstances occur, which might be described as Hair-Raising and definitely effect- full  in bringing some adventures into the Scripts. Time and time again, we see the same thing happening, but in different countries, on other new continents. We miss the plane or lose our money; we trust the wrong people and there we go with another Dread-full Drama for the Herstory 

On this particular occasion, I had 130dm. with me. Most of this, I then had to pay out, for (1). a taxi to Colombo (2) an over night hotel bill, (3) phone call to Scatty in Germany to find out Raffis address and to know when she would arrive.

All sounds difficult? Well, we wish to demonstrate the magic of being super-naturally-on timed & following one’s s.n.o.timed nose. O you  500+ xtrabreitxtrabrights! 

Once again, it was a matter of trusting in the unknown and waiting for the connection.

 In India, everything goes more slowly. It is the heat perhaps. I had blown through: www.the7thfire.com and was entering through the heart, to take the leading part in a Play, which happens in the dimension of the After Life.

 My experience wants to demonstrate the theory, that, when one dies, one does not know it.

 There I stood, patiently in the sure knowledge that Existence was, as usual, arranging my rescue.

There had to be a string of unlikely happenings coming up. For, as I knew from former such “After-Life” experiences, when one let one’s life get just a little out of control -  that was when things took off and got intoxicating. Such events were often accompanied with some surprising coincidences.

By that time, the people who had flown with me had all dispersed, so that my presence, standing motionless in a conspicuous corner of the big arrival hall, had to be noticed. I couldn’t stand there for ever? In my black skirt, black hat and shoes. My face turning as pink as the blouse I  wore. Just as the clock showed 10 O’clock, a small elderly Indian in airport uniform approached me and asked my problem. On showing my Passport, a big smile crossed his face. This is the 1^st coincidence folks. Taking out his own I.D. to show me, I see, indeed, how queer, that his last name is the same as mine. Potisin!

“Family” he chortles and proceeds to take me under his wing.  For 2000 rupees, he can supply a taxi to Lake Lodge, where his sister would give me some money to help me find my friends.

Sri Lanka’s Lovely!

In no time, I was being lead out into the burning heat of a South Indian morning and helped into a big old comfortable taxi. The young driver drove fast with all the windows open, pointing out the famous buildings and then, the glorious blue Indian Ocean as we entered Colombo. Indeed, this is the sort of paradise that Nanny had seen herself dieing into (or up to).

The vegetation is absolutely luscious on both sides of the wide straight road that the driver weaves his way through at great speed.  Avoiding, with a series of wrenches on the steering wheel, slower moving traffic, at the same time, being overtaken by horn blasting faster cars, buses and even heavy carrier lorries. It is all very exhilarating and I feel no fear. After all, what can happen to you further when you are already in the land of the dead? It is a very colourful paradise and the Islanders of the former British Colony, then Ceylon, look very much alive.  They are a handsome race of human beings. As is fitting to a state of heaven, I think, as I relax and watch it all flash by. Coco nut palms, heavy with nuts. Plenty of them. Really tall trees. Everywhere, under them, people in picturesque huts; small shops piled up with tropical fruits.

Lake Lodge is certainly, under the circumstances, a dream come into reality. Just exactly the sort of place that every traveller hopes to find, in the wind-down hours of making up for jet lag. There were no formalities. The taxi guy carried my bag into the room, wished me good luck and I closed the door, turned the key and sank down onto the wide flat bed under the fan, whirring overhead and fell fast asleep. Sri Lanka’s lovely.

You know that feeling of having left your body and gone so far away, that when you awaken, you cannot think WHO you are, never mind WHERE you are. Well, as I had slept the hot Indian noon hours away, the strong sun had reached it’s zenith and a ray had found it’s way, like a razor beam, through the ruby red curtains of the Lodge bedroom. Turning it into the same glowing rosy pink lighting of the dimension of the dream I had just left.

So this was what it was like in the after-life? I feel fresh and young. My eyes look back at me in some surprise from the shaded old mirror in the bathroom. The water in the shower  is tepid, cooling, refreshing. And I need a cup of tea. Somebody, had it in fact been me? I couldn’t remember, had unpacked my bag, and laid out, what seemed to me, to be, the perfect outfit for my first outing in heaven. The well worn, well travelled purple cotton trousers, the long sleeved white cheese cloth blouse, and the black hat.

Me and my Sister

Me and my sister were trained from a very early age to be quick-act-changers. So, in no time flat, I had dressed, fixed the body bag with the passport and purse invisibly under the blouse and was making my way down the steep narrow Lake Lodge stairs, to the reception Hall. Without my having to ask, the Indian in charge, wished me a good evening and said that tea was being served in the Patio.

What we are describing folks, is one woman’s idea of pure heaven. To find herself, after death, to wake up in a tropical paradise feeling and looking twenty years younger. If the next part of her dreamed up script happened as good as the first part, then, Nanny is meeting a man, with whom she will, eventually, start an affair of the heart.

The tea and the sandwich took a long time too come. But who cares? The Patio smells gloriously of blooming honey suckle, jasmine and hibiscus and I have chosen to sit at the table under a small umbrella shaped tree. This folks, was about as far away and as different as possible from the kind of holiday I had imagined having, Here there is not the sight nor sound of a child.  This Hotel appears to be the lodging place for young men. Yes, strange, there really was not one woman in sight! Except, of course, for Ms. Potisin, who was supposed to be living in room 24. I decided to call on her in the morning. Meanwhile, the scent of the tea wafted out  of the kitchen & a flock of bright green mini parrots, flashed in a blue sky over our heads.

I might say that, by the time it arrived, hot & fragrant in a tall white china tea pot, my anticipation transformed the first cup into, truly a nectar of the Gods.

But, I was in a hurry folks. Those black shoes with the gold stars looked fine, but they were killing my feet. The stores were still open & it would be my chance to phone Scatty and find out what to do. Already as I left the Hotel Gates, I saw that a storm was brewing. But there was no turning back. I headed with the determination of the desperate, out of the quiet sheltered residential area, into the furor of a main street in the great over-populated city of Colombo.

The pavements were full of pot holes and teeming with millions of brown skinned people who all seemed to know where they were going. Some of them helped me cross the wide and very busy road. .On the other side, I steered straight into an air conditioned Arcade to the Ice Cream Parlour.

Pink Floyd played over loud-speakers in the Ice Cream Parlour, as I heave myself onto a  padded bar stool and order a tall glass of mango juice without ice. The girl in the shoe shop is soon beckoned over and whilst drinking the life-reviving juices, she sold me a pair of blue rubber flip-flops.

Ten minutes later, I am talking to Scatty, thousands of miles away back in good old Germany. The baby screams, the girls are fighting and Alif’s demanding voice is also to be heard in the background. Scatty is rebooking. They would arrive in a week. Raffi was on Lavinia Beach at the ocean side!

Way out (I think), as I make my way back to Lake Lodge as hastily as possible. The storm that was brewing, causing the air to be so heavy, I felt as though I should wade through it, as one does when walking in water. The growling of approaching thunder is louder than any thunder I have ever heard. Flashes of lightening light us all up as though a gigantic spot-light momentarily picks us out. Enormous drops of rain are beginning to fall as I get back to Lake Lodge. My relief is acute to be there, inside safe and dry. Particularly as the black dark Indian night had fallen on me, and just as I reached the Lodge door, torrential rain bucketed down. What a timing! Two minutes later and I might have drowned.!

Next morning, after I had breakfasted with my rescuer’s sister in her Hotel room, and graciously accepted a bundle of rupees, I took a Rickshaw on the long journey to the Sea. It took the best part of an hour, before we turned off the wide road into a delightful residential area with wide-spread bungalows, a lot of greenery and flowering trees, high white walls, great gates and plenty of uniformed private guards.

My heart is joyful! This is the sort of world that I know so well (and love so dearly). Here is where the privileged and the wealthy have their second homes. By now it is one O’clock and the scorching sun blazes overhead. But, happily, the rickshaw has come to a halt under an enormous tree & I only need to take a few steps to the 5 star hotel, which is to be my address for the 2^nd night in Sri Lanka. Two handsome, tall, solemn looking Guards dressed up quite magnificently in red silk and with swords in their sashes, open the big glass front door. The change of temperature is  wonderful. The Hallway can be described as super luxurious. I sink gratefully into a huge cream coloured sofa and regard my reflections from all sides. It’s all mirrors,  tropical flower arrangements, expanses of polished white marble floor and a grand piano as well.

That night, I slept on the edge of the King-size bed in Raffi’s room. Our plan to evacuate me across the road to Surrender Rooms, had been abandoned as another fierce storm broke and I had been dead asleep when Raffi returned from his evening practise.

However, here we are arrived on the day The 17^th March. Still a cool morning as it’s only five o’clock and barely light, when I take my bag and leave the room with Raffi. We are bound for the Hotel’s Beach Restaurant, for a Sri Lankan breakfast that is out of this world

How can our planet shift into higher levels of consciousness more smoothly and how can we help? Well, the old age method is one that involves struggles and hardship. The old age attitude says “If anything is worth having, it’s worth struggling over, waiting for”. It nobilizes all these sorts of puritanical concepts. It proposes that you should work hard all your life, and then when you are old and cannot work any longer, you can enjoy your life.

But initially you were never supposed to struggle. You were never supposed to suffer. You were never supposed to have pain in the creating of this playground that is your earth. The creating of this illusion that it is the physical plane of reality was never supposed to be hard It was meant to be joyous, celebratory experience of growing. The new method of growth is to grow through love and joy – to see life not as something you have to confront and win over, but something to encounter and celebrate. You can learn through the pain, but you can learn much more rapidly through the joy of life.

2. How can one move in that direction more completely and more fully to start growing through joy? The first step- the vital step- is to recognise how much you want to believe that pain is the only way of growth. No pain no gain.

Second step. Look at the belief, and literally change the belief. Understanding that all beliefs are illusion, pick those illusionary beliefs that work for you. What advantage do you get from believing in the fear and the pain? What alternative advantages might you have by believing in the joy and in the laughter?

Third step: Try joy! As you try it and find out it works, that is the grandest impetus for the continuation, which is the fourth component. Once you begin the joy. Once you begin the laughter, and discover the beauty of it, let yourself lighten up, etc. realise that maybe you were foolish for taking life so seriously and so heavily before, but to continue that foolishness does not eliminate it. Let yourself unabashedly rush forward into that new way of growing, through the joy and the laughter. Take these four steps, and let yourself fly.

As the value of the sterling currency has fallen in recent months in tandem with the U.S. $ , NOW is as good a time as ever ,for the British to adopt the Euro$. It’s this question, of whether the British economy is on course to converge with its Euro zone partners that is dividing many economists.

What is the question of convergence?
One wouldn’t expect the U.K. business cycle to be running permanently in sync with that in France. In any case the French business cycle is not perfectly correlated with the business cycle in Germany. The evidence is that the British economy is quite well correlated with France and Italy and it is Germany that has the convergence problem. .

North Korea admits to having Nuclear Weapons!

North Koreans have said that if the U.S. does not give up its hostile attitude Pyongyang would have no choice but to possessing Nuclear deterrent .Until now they said that its actual nuclear program that we know about was intended for peaceful use. But that stance has gradually been changing to an official acknowledgement that it does posses a nuclear weapons program and in fact ,in private conversation with American officials, N. Korean Leaders have said they actually have nuclear weapons and are currently building more! But this is the 1st time that the State Media has publicly said “We are developing nuclear weapons and this is why! Because of increased American hostilities.”

So what does it take, from the American side, to make them back-down? The North Koreans want a promise from the U.S. that it will not attack them. Also, they want aid.


Poles say YES at the polls. Report from Warsaw, Poland

More than 50% of registered voters turned out. More than 80% in favour. The Government was obviously delighted. Spokesman said Poland would provide an important and influential member of the E.U.

Poland has a lot to do in the next 11 months before it joins the union. The most important thing from the Polish point of view is the financial reform. Finances and the agricultural industry have to be sorted out, in order to enter Europe as an equal member.

What will be the impact on Poland, with it’s high unemployment and sticky economic situation? Of all the 10 new countries joining next year, Poland has the biggest market with 40 million people. What they are looking forward to is a lot of investment, a lot of money coming into the country. Also, people are going to be happy to be able to work abroad.

The 3rd World of America: America’s first “POVERTY THEME PARK”.


This is America’s first poverty scene park. A 6 acre visitor attraction show-casing the rat-infested slums of South America and the drought ridden villages of Africa. It’s been built by the Global Charity Habitat for Humanity.

A Spokesman for the Poverty Theme Park said:" The point of the experiencing is, you come in and you see and feel more than you have before, just what poverty is really like. And then you see that there really is a solution; that there is a way to create affordable housing for people and it seems insurmountable, but it’s not.”

If the aim of Poverty Park is to prick consciences and touch chords of American concern, then the graphic scenes depicted are clearly working.

One Visitor to Poverty Park, said, “We are very affluent here where we live. We enjoy our life style and this gives me an opportunity to see that these things do exist and hopefully we can do something about it.”

Another Visitor said that it had made her feel really bad when she went through the poverty housing. The experience was shocking and sad.

But, there is no shortage of the real thing in South Georgia (or anywhere) in 3rd World America (US in Potty Algebra). The craft in constructing this Poverty theme park have done a good job, creating synthetic poverty. But in this corner of Southern Georgia, the irony is, there’s no shortage of the real thing! A fifth of the population in Southern Georgia lives below the poverty line. The region is so poor; it’s sometimes called the 3rd world of America. It’s easy to see why when you visit communities like Richland. This has to be about the most inappropriately named town there is. The ramshackle houses and littered yards look more like Sierra Leone than 21st Century America. A third of the people here live in rusting mobile homes.

All across America the problem is getting worse. Partly because of the weakened economy, partly because of the fiscal prices which has forced half of the states here to cut child-care subsidies. There are now almost one million black children living at half the poverty level, some in shabby trailer parks close to the Poverty Park. A local charity worker said that there are people living with no doors and no glass in the windows. No electricity, no heat. Not what one expects in modern day America! Certainly not! Not at all!

Food banks in the town of Americus, dispensing much needed aid to poor families. Real people with real problems. For whom poverty isn’t a “Visitor Experience”, but a sad way of life. 3rd World America.

Just as dawn broke 3 armed Militants attacked a crossing point into Israel. The three attackers were killed in the ensuing gun battle & there were also Israeli casualties.

A terrorist joint operation deliberately made a point. It’s certainly rare for the groups to get together for an attack & it is a very forceful restatement of their rejection of the CEASE FIRE talks!

3 Palestinian gunmen killed by Israeli troops at an army post on the edge of the Gaza strip. The incident came just hours after a Palestinian Militant Group declared that they boycott peace talks with the Palestinians.

Reports in Gaza say that the 3 attackers were from 3 different militant groups: Hamas, Islamic Jahad & the Al Axa brigade. While the Prime Minister pledges to end the armed uprising against Israel, the Militants have apparently united to strike at an Israeli target. They will see it as resistance to Israel occupation. The Israelis call it terrorism and they have made it clear that the peace process cannot advance, whilst such attacks continue. So much for the Road Map!!


The American Secretary of State, Mr Colin Powell, (the man with the towel,)departs for Chile today, Sunday for a meeting of the Organisation of American states. A sign of Washington once again turning it’s attention to Latin America after a period of neglect because of the Iraq war. After Chile, Mr. Powell goes on to Argentina for meetings with the country’s newly installed President, Mr. Kirschner .

Washington is trying to tempt all of Latin America into a FREE TRADE PACT. But the Americans are going to find a region increasingly determined to pursue its own agenda in the world.

The crowd at a recent left-wing rally in San Paolo, Brazil, shouted slogans against free trade with the United States.

Memories in Latin America are still strong of U.S. interference in support of Military Dictators across the region which explains why there was so much public scepticism about U.S. motives in Iraq and so little support from there for the war. What’s new is that such opinions are reflected by Governments, but to Washington’s fury, two of its closest allies, Mexico & Chile both refused to give their crucial votes in the U.N. security council over Iraq .

Mr Powell will find a new generation of leaders in Latin America much more determined to pursue an independent agenda.

Much of South America remains to be convinced that the FREE TRADE deal on offer from Washington benefits ordinary people.

It is a region where, in the future, the United States may have to work much harder than it has in the past to get its way.



The Dodgy Dossier about the possibility of Dirty Bombs in Iraq.


The British Government has admitted that there were failings in it’s use of intelligence reports to build the case for war on Iraq. The office of the Prime Minister, Tony Blair, has said that greater care will be taken in the future!

The so called “Dodgy Dossier” was the 2nd Government report claiming to be based on intelligence about Saddam Hussein’s regime & his weapons of mass destruction. However, soon after it’s publication in January, it was widely discredited. It was discovered that: one substantial section had BEEN COPIED FROM A TWELVE YEAR OLD ACADEMIC THESIS.

Downing Street is still standing by it’s first Intelligence Report published in September. Tony Blair has dismissed allegations that it was “Spiced Up” to exaggerate the threat from Iraq to justify war.

In the strong plutocracy which exists world-wide here & now, today, with as usual, the wealthy classes ruling, exercising power and influence by virtue of it’s wealth, it is very interesting for the Plutocrats who rule with the power of money, to have world (global) currencies under their control. Also, in their perpetual attempts to cream off the cream & keep the people working for them at the lowest possible wage, currencies, (monetary system), the Pluto people hand in glove with Politicians, cause all sorts of tricks which are bound to hit the ordinary guy or gal, right where it hurts.

Elderly German Citizens are now handling the 4th currency in their lives. The latest, the Euro Dollar & cents, is a blatantly successful move to bring the U.S.E $ (United States of Europe) in direct line with the U.S.A.$. The Euro $s replacement of the German Deutsch Mark gave America the chance to punch the (too jaunty) rejoined-up Germany (U.G. for United Germany in Potty Algebra) right in the groin.


Penny Pincher Reports: Birth of the Euro$

In the embryonic stage, the Euro$ was purely an electronic currency which was used for banking transactions and businesses dealing with Euros. But every day life was still conducted in National currencies and the rate of those currencies against the Euro had been fixed for all time. So, you had a couple of years in which the EURO was just an electronic currency and then the big day came. January 1st 2002 when Euro$ notes came in.

There had been a big build up to the introduction of the Euro$, a big information campaign. Opinion Polls showed that the German people were very nervous about the passing of the Deutsch Mark. It was after all the stability on which the West German Economy had been built and many people were very reluctant to part with it. But, on the night itself, after months of doom & gloom stories across Europe about what could and probably would go wrong, “Low and Behold, at ten minutes past midnight, the CASH MACHINES spluttered out EUROS!!

The transaction was very quick, but “How come that some people absolutely love the Euro$ and others absolutely don’t?”

The Germans were most reluctant because the D.M. was a symbol of their success after the 2nd World War. Certainly, prices did rise a little bit, but not as much as people feared. Now the fear is not of inflation but deflation of prices falling. But very few people are calling for the end of the Euro$.

The Euro$ as a currency is still very young. Born at midnight, January 1st 2002, ( still, in the Chinese Horoscope Calendar year of the snake!!).

It is admitted that the EURO$ is a bit of an experiment so that the advantages and disadvantages are only just emerging. But the big advantage has to be that there are about three hundred million people across Europe who are using just one currency and that is creating a huge market. For Businesses, it means they don’t have to waste any more money changing their currencies all the time. They can do businesses across borders very easily. They can also compare their prices with their competitors in different countries now that everyone is using the same currency. That’s good for the big strong companies, but probably not so good for small weak ones which tend to go out of business. Euro$ is also quite good for consumers. Because everything is all priced in the same currency there is a lot more competition. So, in theory, one currency should lead to lower similar prices across those countries. It should also lead to more trade between those countries. Which all sounds very nice, but! there is one potential big disadvantage, too, and that is that one currency across Europe also means one interest rate. So, for example, Greece is growing at over 4% at the moment, has to have the same interest rate as Germany, which is only just growing by something like 0.2% and that is leading to big problems. Just as in Germany you can see the economy is close to recession; unemployment is very high. They really could do with lower interest rates but they can’t have them. So that inflexibility is the main problem.

However! In practise shops and restaurant have taken full advantage of it. The Euro$ is worth about 2 d.ms.. So they all try to get away with charging the same in Euro $s as they did in Deutsch Marks!! Which means, for they of you who are weak on sums, “DOUBLE”! Whatever, the Euro & single currency is slowly sinking in and becoming part of the fabric of the economy of Europe.

It has been a hot week with thunder storms & nobody felt like cooking. We ate salads, fruits and yoghurts, to insure getting the necessary vitamins. Channeling takes much energy & we drink plenty of mineral waters, tea & coffee.

At half past six this Sunday morning when my day began, the air outside the open French Windows was cool and freshened from the night hours. My intention was to take advantage of the cool before, slowly but very surely, the hot June sun climbing to it’s zenith, scaled the roofs of the houses across the road, and streamed like strong central heating into the flat.

Our summer day tactics to keep cool in a South orientated residence began. Windows wide open, curtains pulled. As the curtains in front of the living-room’s French windows opening onto the balcony, are of a dark green colour, the light that filters through, turns the studio here where we work, to look and feel as though we are under tall trees.

Are you on the F.B.I.'s NO FLY List?

The American "Civil Liberties Union" has filed a Law Suit on behalf of two women whose names appeared on lists of people deemed to be a security risk. Jan Adams and Rebecca Gordon have been systematically singled out by Airport Security staff in the United States . The names were on an official "NO FLY" list compiled by the Federal Aviation authorities. The process of identifying particular people who should be barred from boarding a plane was expanded in the wake of the September 11th attack. It is believed that these NO FLY lists are made up of thousands of names, but claiming security reasons, the authorities are refusing to reveal who is on the list and why they have been put there .!! Thousands of people, all over America, are being similarly detained and there are complaints about the shields of secrecy that have come down in America since the New York attack.


40 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq since peace was declared! ……………………………………………………………..

Mr. Paul Bremer, the American Civil Administrator of Iraq, has accused supporters of Saddam Hussein of being responsible for much of the post-war looting and arson which followed the collapse of the Iraqi government. In a satellite briefing to Washington, he also said, Saddam loyalists had organised themselves into small groups to resist the U.S. military. Since President Bush announced major combat over in Iraq on May 1st, 40 American soldiers have been killed there. Bremer blames the attacks on organised resistance, coming from Baath party loyalists & former members of the republican guard. He said there was no way of knowing how long the U.S. would have to remain there. That the priority for now was to get Iraq's economy going to create jobs in a country where more than half the population is (now) unemployed.

2. American weapon inspectors being placed in Muslim country sea ports.
The United States has announced plans to place American inspectors at major sea ports in some countries with Muslim populations as part of it's war on terror. They will check cargo containers in an attempt to prevent weapons and explosives being shipped to the U.S. This move is the next phase in a deployment of American inspectors that already takes in 20 large container ports in Europe and Asia. Countries now being involved include Malaysian, Turkey and the United Arab Emarits .

The Bush administration identifies Hamas as the obstacle to peace, but can the Militant group be defeated? Mission impossible, you are not dealing with an organisation with a few militants; you are not dealing with an organisation with a few politicians, you are dealing with a society. The Palestinian group Hamas has reiterated that it's campaign of violence against Israel will continue in spite of American efforts to re start the peace process. In Washington, the White House spokesmen described Hamas as terrorists who were killing, in an attempt to wreck the peace process. President Bush is sending a mediator to the region within the next few days.  also: The United States threatens to block funding into N.A.T.O. because of Belgium Legislation allowing foreigners being prosecuted for alleged war crimes. The leaders of 2 key Senate Committees have been outlining their plans for investigating reports that intelligent officials were pressured to exaggerate the threat posed by Iraqi Weapons of mass destruction.

Democrats concerned by the intelligence controversy have begun to call into question President Bush's whole strategy of pre-emptive action against rogue nations.

Back in the summer of 2002, long before anyone was giving much serious attention to a war against Iraq, President Bush was making a little reported address to the military cadets at West point. It laid out what has now become known as the policy of pre-emption. It spelled the beginning of the end for Saddam Hussein. George Bush said: "For much of the last century America defence relied on the Cold War doctrines of deterrence and containment. In some cases those strategies still apply. But new situations also require new thinking. We cannot defend America and our friends by hoping for the best. If we wait for threats to fully materialise we will have waited too long!"

A year later, Saddam Hussein has gone but no weapons of mass destruction have been found. That is prompting some senior Democrats, amongst them Senator Carl Leven, to question whether the policy of pre-emption is all it's cracked up to be. But Republicans are saying "Not so fast." They insist there is no evidence the White House hyped the intelligence and now the Republican Chairman of the Senate Intelligence, is accusing Democrats of "Playing Politics". He says, the same people who criticised the White House of being too slow to understand the warnings before the September 11th attacks, were now blaming it for acting too fast on Iraq. Other strong supporters of the administration maintain Iraq was a classic and justifiable case for pre emptive action despite the uncertainty of the intelligence leading up to the conflict and the failure of the U.S. or Britain to find a so-called "smoking gun" before hostilities commenced.

U.S. Troops make Military operations in Iraq. …………………………………………………..

American troops in Iraq have been taking part in one of the biggest Military operations since the collapse of Saddam Hussein's government 2 months ago. U.S. central command said, a series of raids involving air assaults, ground forces and patrol boats have been carried out along the river Tigris, North of Baghdad over the past few days. Officials said the aim was to eradicate, what they described as "Loyalists" to the former ruling Baath party & para-military groups.

Suicide bombings, ambulances, sirens, dead bodies on the streets. More violence between Israelis & Palestinians just 3 days after a 3-way summit meeting with President Bush which was supposed to be all about what needs to be done to kick start the peace process.

There have been wide spread calls for a halt to the escalating violence between Israel & the Palestinians which left 25 people dead in a space of 12 hours. Two Israeli Helicopter missile attacks in the Gaza strip, one of them late at night killed 9 people. The strikes followed a suicide bombing onboard a bus in Jerusalem which killed 16 & injured many more. The last people to die were two Hamas Militants hit by Israeli missiles over night . The violence demonstrates the failure of the American peace strategy so far, which is to let each side do what they feel is possible rather than what is needed. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Trouble in Teheran, Iran. 12.6.03 …………………….. For the 2nd night running, thousands of anti-government protesters , many of them students, have taken to the streets of the Iranian Capital Teheran. The protesters denounce the religious rulers and called for the resignations of both Iran's supreme Leader, the Ayatollah and the pro-reformist president. The demonstrations started on the campus at Teheran University where students had gathered to protest against plans to privatise Iran's colleges. According to reports, clashes erupted between rival groups with both sides throwing stones at each other. Soon they were joined on the street by thousands of ordinary people who had heard reports from U.S. based satellite t.v. channels (!!). Shouting slogans against the clerical authorities, many of the protesters chanted "Death to the supreme leader". Frustrated by the slow pace of change, many people now feel betrayed by the Ayatollah and his lack of progress towards reform.

Prime Minister Blair has breakfast in Paris this morning, with his French counterpart, after having enjoyed a diplomatic "head to Head" last night with President Chirak. (Tete au Tete Diplomatique). There was plenty to talk about. Matters of mutual interest on the horizon such as Britain's position Vis à Vis the Euro & differences of opinion over the planned constitution as well as problems in the past over Iraq. Tony Blair said in his speech, "Whatever the differences have been over Iraq, I've got no doubt at all that it is vitally important for the future of both our countries and for the future of Europe, that Britain and France work closely together. We are two proud Nations with long traditions in History, but I am sure that he is right in saying that what brings us together and unites us is far greater than anything that might divide us from time to time."

British Tony Blair and French Jacques Chirak say their differences are now behind them. But as EU Ministers struggle to reform farm policies, France is having none of it.

It is hard to find a terrain where there is full agreement if you look at some of the dossiers on the table at the moment, reform of the common agricultural policy is what, once again, France and Britain are on opposite sides of the fence. Also Great Britain is rather on the side-lines because of this last decision that was made in London about the $Euro, so Tony Blair wants to show that he is a good European never the less. The basic foreign policy difference though, has to do with transatlantic relations; how close they should be to the United States. But both parties would like to cool down on that one.

Draught for European Union in Greece next week, "done and dusted" ………………………………………………………………………………

 The aim is to get it "wrapped up" in the morning so that they can all have a celebratory lunch. They are trying to draw the strings together. The different groups in the convention representing national governments, European Parliament members, Commission members and so on, all meeting separately with either Monsieur Giscard or one of his deputies. A very delicate process and on Friday we do expect a preliminary .Even if they haven't agreed a final text, even if they don't agree, they will let the text through to the heads of government in the hope then there will be a little bit more work afterwards and eventually they'll get into government negotiations and things that some countries really can't swallow , will be addressed again. Hodge Podge? Critics say that some of the early draughts can only be described as a cobbled hodge podge of a compromise with some of the radical ideas for taking away the veto in foreign policy; for harmonisation of tax across the E.U. and one idea that is still in there: A common defence with an EU flag! (that, the British, Polish and others will definitely have out!). Most of the really critical points have actually been ironed out. There is going to be an uneasy balance again between nation states, you know, the big fish, like Chirak, Schroeder and Blair still on the world stage and the super national level. We'll have a little bit more power for the Commission President, to choose his college of commissioners. Whatever happens, how will it be noticed by the people of Europe.? It will be a matter of WHO decides foreign policy? Who's Europe is it? Will there be European tax rates? Certainly that will affect the people. Or the Social policies, welfare policies or a European Police Force. But it is not an all of a sudden thing. Some of this will take years to come into effect. The Treaty itself is not before 2006. Over all it will be a split-personality EU for the future and the big question is "What's it for? What will Europe's relationship with the outside world be? Will it be a French-orientated kind of an EU which is more anti-American, shall we say. Or at least challenging America! Or, will there be lots of views coexisting .


8.Common agricultural policies in Europe? ……………………………………………..

EU meeting in Luxembourg trying to reach an agreement to reform the C.A.P. . A Minister's proposal by Greece was rejected on Wednesday by the French agriculture minister. It appears that the European commission is pretty much sticking to it's guns in it's plan to abolish the link between the amount of subsidies the farmers are paid and the amount of food they produce. That is still being fiercely opposed by some countries, notably France and Ireland, but enthusiastically by such countries s the U.K. . But, by far and large, the Farm Lobby groups in Europe reacted with horror to this whole idea. But, Britain, a strong supporter of the new idea, said "As long ago as 10 years ago, we examined the policy option and we saw really the absurdity of where we had been going in farming subsidies rather than farming the land& the whole system, since then, has become even more absurd. The paper-chase, the bureaucracy, the inability to actually obtain the best price from the market place and, indeed the cost of being associated with that has become quite crippling. Perhaps more in the U.K. because we have tended to maintain it more rigidly and the whole thing has been made worse by our position in the U.K. outside of the $Euro. When the pound has been so strong, it has significantly devalued the payments that we have received which has cost the British Farmers about one and a half to 2 Billion a year and put them in a very difficult position. One possible compromise being talked about at the meeting in Luxembourg, to get the French and the Irish moving, is to go into a sort of half-way house, where you abolish some of the subsidies directly linked to the amount of food produced by farmers but you keep others. This would mean, not only for the British members but for every thinking farmer in Europe. it would be an absolute disaster! But surely, is not the simplest thing, to abolish subsidies altogether. They have pretty well done that in places like New Zealand. Why can't Europe cope with that? Well, if you go to N.Z. and go into a slaughter house, you will find, for sheep for example, there is a EU price schedule and that is the price payable for sheep coming to Europe (N.Z.lamb). A price much higher than anywhere else! So they are actually pulling the wool over people's eyes and using other people's support mechanisms. But in principle, they need to address the issue, but they have to do it on a world basis. And there are many other factors that come into play. The big issue that they all face is how you address problems that nobody wants to address and that is the aggressive devaluations of currency that has been seen in Brazil and Argentina. 80% devaluation which allows them to dump their products and totally distort markets. That is an issue still to be debated.


9. It is interesting to note, from a shamanistic viewpoint, how History tends to repeat itself. Maybe because WHIRLD'S WILL will be done. At the moment, in HeRstory, which intends to light up, (at least for you evolving extrabreitextrabrights), the truth, that, the gullible(or guided with shot-guns at their heads) Leaders of the European Countries (EC) and Eastern European countries (EEC) are, like fools, rushing in, where Angels fear to tread, to form the United States of Europe: (USE in Potty Algebra). And what will they be used for, in the North American demo gorgon system of "Cap it all ism"? Guess Folks!! They will all be used to better the American failing economy.

10. Chief Executive of bi-tech Inclone systems, charged with Bank Forge.

Sam Waxall was fined $3 million for "Insider Trading", perjury & other charges. The punishment is the maximum under federal sentencing guide lines. Mr. Waxall pleaded guilty to the charges of insider trading, bank forge, perjury and tax evasion. It all goes back to the end of 2001, when Sam Waxall set up his own Bio-tech Company, with his brother in 1984,. It's called Inclone systems. The plan was to develop anti-cancer drugs. In December 2001, the Food & Drug Administration rejected one of their drug's application. That was made public knowledge a couple of days after and before it was public knowledge, Mr. Waxall tried to off load a whole bunch of shares that he owned, which is insider trading, obviously.

But does the punishment fit the crime?

This is not just a sentence for insider trading. This is a sentence for perjury and obstruction of justice. U.S. criminal justice authorities take it very, very personally when you lie to them and when you are under oath, they get the opportunity to add as much as a 10 year sentence on. This is the first sentencing of a higher executive and prosecutors want to use this occasion to send the proverbial message.

President Bush says the Road Map is still alive & he is sticking by his ideas on peace for the Middle East, He criticised the Israeli Helicopter missile attacks in the Gaza strip. Describing them as "troubling". Mr Bush said that it would make it more difficult for the Palestinian Leadership to combat terrorism and wouldn't help Israeli security. At least 5 people were killed in the Israeli strikes and the leader of the Islamic Militant group Hamas was hurt. President Bush took an early opportunity to speak out against the Israeli missile attacks. While he did not offer an open condemnation, he was concerned. He called for responsible leadership on all sides.

After the fine words in Akabah summit last week the Israelis and Palestinians seem to be as far apart as ever this morning, Wednesday 11th June 2003-06-11.

CYCLE OF VIOLENCE continues.

The Israelis stated " If the Pal. authority fails to take action against dismantling terrorism and we will feel and have the information that there is a threat to our citizens and to the whole peace process of the Road Map, then we will not hesitate to take necessary action to neutralize that threat. That's the point then, "If Pal won't take action "I" will."

The Pals spokesman comments: "It seems that the Israelis haven't learned anything over the past 2 and a half years. They have assassinated more than 154 Pals. and all that does is continue the retribution of retaliatory tactics against the Israelis. And that is exactly what it was intended to do. Israel's gaol yesterday, with the attempted assassination, was primarily to under mine Prime Minister Abbas in his effort to bring Hamas and Jehad on board with the Road Map and in fact invite more attacks against Israelis , so that the Israelis can use those attacks as an excuse to not continue with the Road Map. Which is, of course, (says the Palestinian spokesman) IS their ultimate gaol. This is, historically, what Israel does. This is not the first time they have used "periods of optimism" to undermine that optimism by carrying out assassinations..

The Road Map calls for all settlements to be dismantled that were built after 2001, but now an Israeli spokesman has referred to only "unauthorised settlements. So, really, they are already watering down their obligations saying that they do not have to abide by the exact terms of the Road Map It also calls for a settlement freeze on all activity and of course, the Israeli's continue to expand more than 150 settlements. There are more than 4.500 settlers in occupied Pal. territory. So the empty gestures of removing empty outposts doesn't do a whole lot to convince the Pals. that the Is are really onboard.' unquote Palestinian spokesman.





12  The U.N. chief Iraq weapon's inspector, Hans Blitz has accused elements within the American defence department of trying to undermine him during his three years in the post. He said that some detractors in Washington and some low-level American officials spread things around about him and planted nasty stories in the Media. He said, by and large his relationship with the U.S. Government were good but as the American invasion of Iraq came closer, Mr. Blitz said his Inspectors had been leaned on to give more damning evidence in their reports.  African Continent economic rescue plan.

It's all about finding ways to put the developing world on an equal footing with the richer nations. Today meeting will be about how to N.E.P.A.T. on, from a mere idea, to concrete action. However, though there is wide spread support for the aims of the project: reducing poverty, promoting democracy and so forth, not every one agrees on the ways to actually reach those aims.

WE are thinking about Angels and Spirits, Cherubim, devas, seraphim. But do we really need to classify them? Why worry about what things are called? Meanwhile the flowers bring forth their glowing fragrant beauty into the day touching our lives with their delicacy. Anyone who wants to learn Angelology (and yes, there is such a discipline, can go to the library. We are much more interested in learning to be aware how angels can touch our lives. When we are worried, busy or very active physically, emotionally or mentally, we limit our range of perception . If we are worried we don't notice the beauty of the sunset, a child's smile or a change in the direction of the wind. Some people never notice the beauty in nature or even in a pot plant in an inner city window box . Other people (& these are our evolving xbxbs ), live permanently nurtured and in awe of nature's beauty. So it is with Angels.

13. The poet, George Russell wrote: "The golden world of invisible beings is all around us. Beauty is open to all. And none are shut out from it, who will turn to it and seek it". We all NEED beauty in our lives, we all need help. Whether it is to comfort and heal others in the horror of war, whether we work creatively and need inspiration or whether we just want to understand how we can seek Angelic presence in our lives, our homes, or our relationship with others..(more to come soon) ..Snow Goose Gabby explains: Of Angels… Do you think of them, the Angels, as beautiful human figures with wings? Some people think that angels are merely artistic or religious symbols, but they do not believe in their actual existence. But I'm not so sure. We have met many people who say that angels interact with them directly in their lives, and there does seem to be a lot of evidence. I think it's excellent to question everything but where angels are concerned even the most secular mind has some difficult facts to get around. How do you account for the fact that angels are spoken of through out the Old Testament? But the same angel that appears to Mary to announce that she will give birth to Christ also appeared to Mohammed to inspire the Koran. Angels are spoken about all through the Koran and Hinduism has it's own dancing canopy of angels and many statues of the Buddha have portrayed him as surrounded in meditation by the presence of winged entities, call them what you will. Also, the Gods that are spoken of in ancient Greece and ancient Rome could also be understood as being forms of angelic beings.

These pre-Christian spirits were believed to inspire education and the Arts. Mercury, Sirius, Neptune & Venus , were, or are, certainly spiritual beings of some kind. The ancient Greek Philosopher, Plato, wrote about "perfect forms". Pure ideas which exist in a spiritual dimension on which contain a perfect model for the physical world. An example would be an angel of justice. There is sometimes a statue of one outside law courts and justice systems around the world strive to reach her ideal of perfect justice.

14. Tribal cultures in close associate with nature believe in spirits that animate all aspects of life and people all over the world make offerings to spirits of many different kinds. They have many different names . Those that live in the earth have been described as elves, gnomes, goblins. Those that are of the air have been depicted as fairies. Or Angel girls with silken wings all recognised as the Gods of weather. Anyone who has stared into a fire will have been fascinated by the elementals that are called salamanders. Have you ever wondered why lighting a candle with some quiet intention is magical. There is a presence isn't there, within the flame. In water it's most easy to sense the spirits of the life of water that is moving. Wells, streams, rivers, lakes and oceans are said to be full of these beings and many streams and wells are recognised as Holy and shrines are built there. If you have ever thrown a coin into a fountain, did you know you were making an offering to the spirit of the water. But wait, you may be complaining that we are confusing angels with spirits; muses with fairies; ancient Greek Gods with native American spirits. Yes, we know, but our problem is that, with all this evidence, all these different types of angelic and spiritual presence, we find it awfully hard to believe there is nothing there at all. The word "Victorian" pertains to Queen Victoria or her reign or her period: The Victorian Age. The characteristics usually attributed to the Victorians, is bigotry and prudishness. Bigotry means: intolerant attachment to a particular creed, practise etc.

15. The Royal Victorian's creed was Christianity which is certainly an extremely prudish religion. Indeed, even today, fornication is considered just as much a mortal sin for Christians, as it was in Scarlet O'Hara's day, in Georgia 300 years ago. In the American College Dictionary, one still "commits fornication", which is further referred to as "voluntary" sexual intercourse on the part of an unmarried person with a person of the opposite sex.

We are inspired to write about Victorian prudery today, after hearing that Ms Clinton, an ex-U.S. President's wife, has been offered a starting $4 million dollars for the publishing and sales rights of a book that this ex First Lady of America has written.
